I have been exchanging messages with Bruce Murphy over the past few days.
I tracked him down through a work related mailing list (as you all may
recall, he's now a dentist - and I sell dental software).

He wants us all to know that he will soon be doing some solo recording
again.  He is also very interested in knowing about the private show in
Montreal in June - says he'll try to crash on Ivan's couch!

He also mentioned that some demos from a 1994 concept album he and Ivan
worked on might be floating around and that he would really like to get his
hands on them.  Album was called UFOs are Real.  Anyone know about these???

Looking forward to getting firm dates for the Montreal show - my neighbour
just about went ballistic when I told her about this show so there might be
a couple of more interested people!

1992  Sideways part II - French
1994  UFOs R Real
1995-96  French Jazz album

There is also a demo album like ROY demo tape from right before Pop Goes
the World.   The song "Heaven" from Specturm show is probably on this
album.

We sure need this stuff don't we?

I didn't and I blame it on Shaw cable.  My cable reception was acting up
during the week they ran that video. The only copy of Open Your Eyes I have is
filled with distortion, noise and gaps.  I'm not complaining though, since in
my opinion it's not the best video around.  I like superbadgirls better and I
just happen to have that one taped in excellent condition.  :-)

I noticed that the messages I posted before my infamous "test"
message were on the list twice when I sent them only once. I noticed
that a few other peoples messages are sometimes repeated twice (like
Brad Hull for example). I guess I was the lucky one that got it do
repeat it 6 times and not only 2. :)

I know this has happen in the past and I am wondering if it is
happening again.

Well, I'm sending this message to my fave mailing lists since you might be
interested in this. I've had a big response for those Orb cd-rs I'm making
and I thought I'd do a whole series of artists also since I know many of
you probably would like some of those cool 12" only mixes on cd, or you
just don't want to wear out the vinyl. I'm eventually going to put my
entire collection on cd so if you want a copy of stuff I have, let me know.
The following is a listing of some stuff I was going to put on cdr for some
of my fave groups. Let me know if you're interested in any of them (I'll
customize them for you if you want.) Each cd-r is $15.00 (for anything you
want and that includes shipping). I'm not going to do anything that's still
in print since that's just not right, but I figure out of print stuff isn't
too bad...If you have different suggestions for what you want, let me know.
All 12" remixes are going to be cleaned with Cool Edit Pro and Sound Forge
to reduce the noise from the original source. I hope to have the cds
sounding better than the originals...

All of the remixes come from white labels, promos, deleted or limited
singles and stuff. I do have some Dj mixes, let me know if you want em. If
you want to forward this to other interested mailing lists, that's okay,

As far as I know, Carl is still unable to make the 2-fer available in
North America.  I will be receiving another 30 2-fers soon, and some
are not yet "reserved."  Anyone who wants a 2-fer, write to me with
your snail address and phone number, and I will give you what limited
info I currently have and will put you on my waiting list.

For the people who were on the first list (for the 2-fers from Thomas
Bieler in Germany):  Disks 21-25 just arrived in the country
yesterday, so 26-30 (Nicholas, David, George, Dave, and Dave)
probably just 2 more weeks!!!

People on the new list: (Michael, Kerry, Stephen, Nathan, Jon, Alain,
Chris, and Nick) - no word yet on when yours will be here.  Carl
shipped them last week, so they need to get to England first, then
Mikey will send them to me.  Man, this is complicated!!!
