Hey All and Tom!
I got my copy of CD #5 today and it is truly great!
I think it's funny that Ivan thought back in 1984 that Mick Jagger
didn't know when to call it quits! (He still doesn't!) :-)))
"Treblinka" is like really far out!
Tom, how would you like to do a CD of *my* demos next? :-)

Can I really???? :-)
You know, when you make it BIG in 2005, those demos will be priceless.

Sure! As soon as I get them recorded! :-)
Seriously, though, I am working to finish some original compositions
that I would like to have "released".

This sounds like one of those pull quotes they stick somewhere in the
liner notes of albums by artists who actually do make it big. I will
keep your message in my archives until 2006, just to have it for when
it really does happen! :-)

Thanks so much, Simon!
But what in the world does that mean?
I'll betcha it's a joke title because that little piece with that name
on CD #5 is an "instrumental" of sorts and very incomplete sounding -
as if half the band was missing at the time or something.
Anybody have any ideas in this regard?

Hi hatters!
translator's note: I'm working on Dave's request.
I just saw I'm a bit late with the translation of Ou sont mes men,
so I'll add a footnote. I believe I understood a certain reliable
but anonymous source to say that this is a snippet from The
Winnebago Song. :-)
Also, another New Year tidbit for everyone . . .
Nothing happened to Tony. He got a job in a clothing store when
parachute pants (remember those?) were popular, hence "selling
parachutes."

accrocheuses: hooks
revelateur: revealing (says a lot)
axe sur le mouvement: centered around 'the movement'

You know, I was looking at this and I keep thinking the same thing over and
over... "I want to learn French"... (I'm taking Spanish currently) So I
started in school. I borrowed some French books and started trying to learn
French :)
What I wanted to know is if anyone's interested in doing a French-learning
group or something like that with others of us in the group that are French-
impaired and want to learn.
I don't know. I just thought that'd ask if anyone's interested in learning
French and hasn't taken any action on it.
If anyone doesn't quite understand what I'm trying to ask, I appologize. It's
3:00am, I'm tired and it was a heckuva party. Good night, Feliz el a±o
prospero!

Is is just me, or has the list been really slow? I hope everyone
isn't *still* hung over from New Year's!!
My New Year has been a real drag. Mr. Laura has bronchitis, so has
not exactly been a party animal. I had to wake my *dog* up to get a

awakened than Jim. It was a close call. ;-)
So make my New Year bright - let's hear from you!!!! Gonna go spin
