=46rom a report on Nov, 26 2003 from rec.arts.sf.written:
"The November 2003 issue of Locus reported that Glenn Cook has
delivered the first book in a new fantasy trilogy. Either the book or
the trilogy is entitled "The Instrumentalities of the Night" (the way
Locus bold-faces the titles of books, their report would make this the
series name and not the book title - they might have misprinted
though). It will be published by Tor. No word on release date."

Tor hasn't updated their publishing schedule beyond April 2004 and=20
LocusMag.com doesn't show any new Glen Cook through March 2005. So, if=20=
true, we're looking at April 2005 at the earliest for this new series.
Perhaps the drought will finally end after three years.

Speaking of news, has anyone heard anything about the RPG book for The
Black Company? Other than the initial announcement I haven't heard
anything about it.

I got a copy (pdf file) of the Tor schedule for Oct - Dec '04 from
another list. Sadly - there is no listing for Glen Cook.
I don't have the web link handy, but I could look it up over the
weekend if any are interested.
