Folks,
In my area (West Los Angeles and San Fernando Valley) Garrett books are
completely gone except for Faded Steel Heat. I realize that the others
are out of print. Is their absence true everywhere?

For the most part, yes. But Ebay invariably has some on hand, I replaced
my whole collection there over a couple month span.
<br> For the heck of it, referring to bad ideas of cover
art. On Sweet Silver Blues others have mentioned the guns. What about the
light switch by the door ?

I think the concept artist was told it was a detective story in a =
fantasy setting....and allowed to read the little excerpt of when the =
Tate crew burst into Garrett's office. If I remember correctly, Cook =
describes them as a minature 'army'. Hence the fact the artist threw in =
the hardware.
