And how does this remark excuse you? I'm dying to find
out. Feel free to reply to my email address instead of the
list.

No, but I do consider your apparent need to fill my mailbox
with grammar and
spelling corrections to be evidence of not only feminine
feebleness of
intelligence but also of your inherent anal self.

Dear TT,
do you see the difference between accidentally pressing the
wrong key while
writting in your second language, and making mistakes thet
dreadfully
resemble ignorance mistakes (check: realism) in your
apparently native
language, judging from the last name.
Aha, there is a misspelled line in my last post, the on in
capitalics.
Happens when I'm in hurry, but I can correct it: "THIS
WOULD BE AN..."- it
should read.
I hope noone takes this pitiful mistake as a proof of
feminine feeblenes of
consciousness or intelligence.
Gwen

Yes, please take this off-list.
Anyone who continues this flame-fest will be unsubscribed.

Joseph McGrath has been unsubscribed. Anyone else?

How would you explain the Polish cover of "Shadow Games"?

The French covers are incredible. Although I pictured the barge in "Shadow
Games" to be flatter and lower to the water. This picture reminds me more of
an ark. I should be getting my French copy of "Shadow Games in a couple
weeks. Can't wait to see what is on the back and spine.

Could be. Doesn't exactly fit my mind's-eye view of a woman hardened by
years of combat and hard living, but then I never saw the Black Company
decked out as conquistadors either.

Must be cheaper to recycle those old "Elric" covers.

Maybe, but Darling has blond hair :)
Unfortunately Polish covers often have no connections with subject of book.
I think that Rebis - the Polish publisher of BC books - has a lot of
pictures of Oliviero Berni (for example: see the Polish cover of "Bleak
Seasons" or "She Is The Darkness") and wants to do something with them
(money, money ...). These pictures are very similar to works of Boris
Valleyo - there is usually almost naked beauty and something/somebody
strange. It's a big pity that we don't have Didier's covers too. They are
beautiful!
The Polish "Shadow Games" cover has only one good property - it's nice
green ;)
Regards,
Kuba
PS Would somebody like to guess - what will be on the Polish "Soldiers
Live" cover?

Not going to mention anything to do with typos,
apologies or opinions, 'cause I don't want to be
unsubscribed! This is just a clarification request for
the group:
As far as I can tell from the little bio bits about
Glen, he has only recently retired from the line at a
truck assembly plant in Michigan. Is that, to the best
of everyone's knowledge, true? Also, and I can't
remember where I read this, I believe I read that Glen
did in fact spend some time in the military, though I
can't remember if he was one of the SF/F writers that
served in Vietnam. Again, anyone have any hard data
and references?
Thanks. Just curiosity and attempting to steer away
from the ferocious flamewars!
Fraser
