  21. Having been a lurker now for some months I finally found the time to 
  22.  play around with fractint and to put some things learned from this 
  23.  list into practice.
  24. Perhaps I'm a  bit too enthusiast but I would like to share the results 
  25.  with you.
  26. Consider it as a big thank you to all contributors.
  27. I had some trouble copying the whole par into one mailnote, so it comes 
  28.  in 4 volumes.
  29. Most of the FRM's come from the orgform collection.

  716. How about Fractint?  There's a little program that I've used (I think
  717. it's at spanky) that calls (DOS) Fractint as a W95 screen saver, but it
  718. really sucks cycles (they're fractals, what did you expect?  :-)  )

  744.         I have a program, bought by mail, called "FracShow".  Is is a CD Rom
  745. disk.  It has about 2000 images on it that run, fading in or fading out,
  746. made from all the recognizable types, Barnesley, etc..  It can be programmed
  747. in a myriad of ways including a kaleidoscope, and image over image, etc..
  748. It is a great program to sit and watch while listening to some good music. 
  749.         It has a facility that can "grab"?  an image off the screen that can
  750. be stored in your wallpaper file for use as a wall-paper and I think you can
  751. also "grab"? one for use as a screen saver.  I love the program but I can
  752. not be sure just what all it can do.

  776. As much as I like fractals, I do not like the Fractint screensaver. It takes so
  777. long. I'm still running at 100mhz, so you know how that feels. I'll just stick
  778. to the ones on my screensaver site. Otherwise I'll have to make the fractal
  779. images into gif/jpegs and use a simple screensaver that just displays pictures.
  780. It's a thought. I'd love to see my Tiera-Zon and Flarium fractals on those.
