  65. AUTHOR'S NOTE:  This was just a thought I had one day.  Because Buffy has to
  66. deal with stuff, most people don't think exist(right they don't, come on now
  67. for my own mentalness, they don't!) What about when she has to face real
  68. stuff, like real diseases.  I don't know why I thought of this, but
  69. oh well I did.

  84. Life's A Bitch

  88.     When Buffy woke up, she looked next to her and saw Angel laying next to her,
  89. and the events of the night before came flashing back.  She wanted to take a
  90. shower so badly.  She got up, and carefully got off the bed, careful, not to
  91. wake Angel up.  She walked into the bathroom crying, and turned on the water.
  92. That got Angel up.  It took him a minute, to realize what had happened, and
  93. who was in his bathroom.  Once he did, he ran in the bathroom, and held Buffy
  94. back before she got in the shower.
  95.  
  96.     "Buffy, DON'T take a shower!" Angel screamed at her.
  97.  
  98.     Buffy looked confused and asked, "Why?"
  99.  
  100.     "Because, Buffy, if you take a shower, you'll wash off anything that could
  101. help identify who the guy is, who raped you."
  102.  
  103.     "Oh, ok.......so when am I gonna go to the doctor's then, I don't wanna go
  104. alone."
  105. Buffy said, looking so young and innocent, why would anybody hurt, Angel
  106. thought.
  107.  
  108.     "I call Willow, ok?"
  109.  
  110.     "Ok."
  111.  
  112.     Angel went and called Willow, and told her everything, that happened.  Willow
  113. was over in a matter of minutes to help her friend.

  187. SUMMARY: This takes place four years later while the Buffy gang is attending
  188. Montague University near Sunnydale. AngelÆs soul has been permanently
  189. restored, and he is 100% human. Jenny Calendar is still alive. Buffy will be
  190. getting a new Watcher.

  199.     Buffy lay in the hospital bed for about three days. Giles, Xander, Cordelia,
  200. Oz, and Angel had come to see her numerous times, but Willow hadnÆt come by
  201. since the day she brought her. Buffy conscience hurt more than any of her
  202. injuries did. She would never forget the look of hurt on her friendÆs face.
  203. Sure, Spike and Drusilla were dead, but at what price? She had given up her
  204. best friend and her favorite Watcher. //I acted like a total bitch// she
  205. thought. //If only I hadnÆt-//
  206.     WillowÆs appearance interupted her thoughts. "Hey."
  207.     "Hi."
  208.     "HowÆre you feeling?"
  209.     "Better. But I still am upset about what I said to you. Will, I wasnÆt upset
  210. about you becoming my new Watcher; I was upset about losing Giles, and I took
  211. my anger out on you. I was acting like a real bitch. IÆm really sorry."
  212.     "ItÆs okay. I can understand about you not being ready to let go of Giles."
  213.     "No, itÆs not okay. Good friends donÆt say stuff like that about other
  214. friends-no matter what."
  215. "We shouldnÆt ruin our friendship just because of something as little as this.
  216. IÆm sorry that I totally overreacted about how you felt. You have a right to
  217. your own opinions, even if I donÆt like them. Friends?"
  218. "Friends." The girls hugged each other.
  219. "Sorry to interrupt," Giles said, "but I need to talk to both of you."
  220. "Giles!" Buffy cried. "YouÆre back!"
  221. "IÆm afraid," he spoke, "that IÆve made a terrible mistake."
  222. "Like what?" asked Willow.
  223. "When I was researching the next Watcher, I make an error. Willow, you arenÆt
  224. the Watcher."
  225. "What!?" the two girls cried in unison.
  226. "Um, the next person in line is Samuel Henry Champlain from Canada."
  227. "Giles," Willow cried in excitement, "so IÆm not Watcher?"
  228. "Not at the present time. You will, however, be in line after Mr. Champlain."
  229. Buffy had a confused look on her face. "But then how did Willow kill Spike and
  230. Drusilla. She had incredible strength and fighting technique."
  231. "Uh, IÆm not sure. YouÆll have to talk to your new Watcher about that. As for
  232. me, IÆve got to go home and see Jenny. Good luck, Buffy. IÆve met your new
  233. Watcher before and heÆs a very nice person. IÆll see you soon."

  249.     Spikes thoughts shifted... He'd forgotten about the pet he'd left in
  250. the cellar. A bit annoyed he got up, it was nighttime again, which means
  251. he had left her down there for a good 24 hours, if not more.
  252.     His footsteps echoed through the warehouse, and he tried to push
  253. Drusilla out of his mind time being, so that he may check up on his new
  254. playmate. But the more he thought of the little red head, a *friend* of
  255. the slayers, the more enraged he became...
  256.  
  257. ~ From below or saints above? ~
  258. ~ You came to me ~
  259.     
  260.     Swinging open the door, Spike walked into the room.
  261.     Willow jerked up with a start, covering her eyes from the light as
  262. Spike walked over to her
  263.     "Rise 'n Shine." Spike said, his voice dripping with sarcasm.. to hide
  264. the pain...
  265.     "You were sleeping, right? Looked that way" He muttered, walking around
  266. the
  267. girl. 
  268. Willow's eyes adjusted slowly to the light... 
  269.     "Let me go" She said meekly. Spike rolled his eyes, how'd he guess
  270. that'd be the first thing out of her mouth?
  271.     "I promise I won't tell Buffy.. I-I can say I--" Spike put his hand up.
  272.     "That's enough. I think we both know you're not going anywhere."
  273.     "She'll come for me" Willow threatened
  274.     "Yeah," Spike said "I'm counting on it"
  275.  
  276. ~ Here comes the cold again ~
  277. ~ I feel it closing in ~
  278.  
  279.         Willow shivered inwardly. 'Counting on it?' she thought, then...
  280. If he was counting on Buffy coming to save her... she had no chance. He
  281. could use her dead or alive...Tears neared her eyes, though she wouldn't
  282. let them fall...
  283.  
  284.        He looked her up and down again, his first impression was (of
  285. course) that she was weak... Her hair clung to her face, and her eyes
  286. were framed in blue circles. She looked pretty pale too, though he
  287. thought nothing of it being trapped in a cellar for 24 hours, is hardly
  288. something to bring the colour out in your cheeks
  289.       Spike reached his hand up to get a strand away from her eyes,
  290. Willow tried to jerk back, but was in an awful position to do so.
  291.  
  292. ~ It's falling down and ~
  293. ~ All around me falling ~
  294.  
  295.  
  296.     "Well." Spike sighed, walking quickly to the candle, picking up the key
  297. behind it.
  298.     "Let's get you down"
  299.     "What?" Willow's eyes fluttered, she thought she might be dreaming..
  300. did he just say--
  301.     "Would you rather stay chained to a wall?" Spike asked cocking his head
  302. to the side waiting for her answer
  303.     She looked downwards     
  304.     Spike laughed    "course not."  He continued to unlock the chains.
  305.         As soon as the second lock was undone Willow fell.
  306.         Right into Spike arms, for the second time. He leaned over to
  307. help her stand, pulling her up. 
  308.     "you okay?"
  309.     Willow nodded, but made no move to stand
  310.     Spike laughed again, and picked up her feet, and began to carry her.
  311.     Willow's heart stop!
  312.         She wanted to fight him off, to scream and rip out his heart...
  313.     But she was so tired.
  314.     She cursed herself for her weaknesses... This would never happen to
  315. Buffy she knew. But she wasn't a slayer, She was just Willow. 
  316.  
  317.     Spike proceeded to carry her out of the cellar. He had no idea what he
  318. was going to do with the girl, but he was extremely bored, and sitting
  319. around moping was oddly getting him no where.
  320.     So, he took her to the main room, and sat her down on top of the table.
  321.     He steadied her so she might sit up, and not fall down. 
  322.     It worked.
  323.         She sat there, staring off into space. Spike took a seat on some
  324. crates across from her. Only When he looked into her eyes did he see
  325. terror... Sure, he could've sensed it...and sure she tried to cover up,
  326. but once you get a taste of it....Well... Spike could just tell she was
  327. scared.. and with good cause too.      
  328.     "What are you..." Willow tried to speak, her voice trembling a bit. "I
  329. mean... are you..."
  330.     Spike smiled. This would be good fun. Something to detour the hurt he
  331. felt, and something to do.
  332.     Willow spoke up, hiding her fears "Are you going to kill me?" 
  333.     Smooth willow she chided herself. Of course he's gonna kill you. Your
  334. of no use to him! Or...maybe.. bait? She shook the inside of her head.
  335. Her thoughts were making her dizzy anyway's.
  336.     When she finally got up the nerve to look at Spike was looking at her,
  337. he was just staring. She began to wonder if he was going to answer her
  338. question...
  339.     
  340.     He was a bit fascinated, she was pretty, he admitted. Somewhat of a
  341. mouse though. Not  to mention one of the slayers bestest friends...
  342. Which made him want to kill her terribly much.
  343.     "I don't quiet know yet" He finally answered.
  344.     "Then why'd you hunt me?"
  345.     Spikes eyes shot to hers, and she immediately looked away. "come
  346. again?"
  347.     "You.. um.. You took me, and you locked me up.. in a dark.. um" Willow
  348. rubbed the large round bruises on her wrists not sure where she was
  349. going or what to say. 
  350.     "no, no." Spike declared "you said. Hunt. Hunted. Why did I hunt you?" 
  351.     Willow began to fill uneasy again.
  352.     "*I* didn't hunt *you*" He hissed, getting up off the crate. 
  353.     "*I* didn't even hurt you." He said walking closer. "And, in case you
  354. haven't noticed your still" He said leaning over to look her directly in
  355. the eyes "*very* much alive"
  356.     Willows eyes went huge. And her hands began to shake a bit in alarm and
  357. panic. 
  358. She hadn't meant to anger him! Of course she hadn't meant to anger him!
  359. No one means to anger the person who is considering killing them!
  360.  
  361.     Spike continued to glare into her eyes. But he wasn't thinking of her.
  362. He didn't even see her. He saw Dru. It was her scared eyes he was
  363. looking into, not willows. It was Drusilla's trembles he felt, it Dru...
  364. It was Dru he remember, as he closed his eyes when a vision of her body
  365. exploding to dust came... 
  366. He turned his chin away from Willow's.
  367.  
  368.       "Come 'mere, love" Spike asked, suddenly taking her shaking hands
  369. and leading her away...

  420. This story is something that happens after Killed By Death. Probally 
  421. a Third season type story. This story has some pretty graphic descriptions 
  422. and some people may be upset by the story. There is a PG-13 rating on 
  423. this story however, there is no sex or sexual situations. Just some Buffy 
  424. like language and violence. This story will go on for a while, or until I come
  425. up with a way to end it. The characters, Buffy, Xander, Willow, etc. belong 
  426. to Joss Whedon, The WB, Sandollar, etc.

  429.     "Is everything ready?" 
  430.     "Yes," Xander and Willow said in unison. 
  431.     "Good. Now go," said a tall creature.  "Dru, come here baby."  Drusilla 
  432. danced over to him with a smile on her face.  "Are you sure this is what 
  433. you want?" 
  434.     Dru smiled and looked into his eyes. "Yes, they betrayed me. I must 
  435. know who loves me."
  436.     "Okay, if you want it, you shall have it!" The man scooped her up 
  437. into his arms and headed up stairs.

  441.     "You know what's going to happen to us." 
  442.     "Yeah, I'm not too worried though."  Spike was almost sure of 
  443. himself.
  444.     "Really? You don't seem to intimidating all chained up and 
  445. bloody like that." Angel was going to use words to hurt Spike since 
  446. physical violence wasn't exactly an option. 
  447.     The large metal door opened again revealing Xander and Oz in 
  448. the doorway. "Come on boys, time to play."  They both entered the 
  449. room with keys in their hands. Xander walked over to Spike and undid 
  450. the lock on his hands. Spike fell forward to the ground, his feet still 
  451. chained up. 
  452.     "Did you have to do my hands first?" Spike moaned out.
  453.     "Well, if I did your feet first, it wouldn't be any fun." Xander smiled 
  454. down at Spike's face that laid flat against the cold ground. He undid 
  455. the locks on his feet and dragged Spike out of the room.  Oz did 
  456. the same for Angel and dragged him out after Spike. 
  457.     Drusilla stood by a large table next to the dark mysterious 
  458. figure. The man wore a cape with a hood that covered his face. Willow 
  459. stood off to a corner, excitement showing through her quiet expression.  
  460. Xander and Oz dragged the two into the room and dropped them on the 
  461. floor in front of Drusilla.
  462.     "Oh good, the guests are here, now we can start the party," 
  463. Drusilla said with an evil grin.
  464.     "Not quite. You forgot me," Buffy said as she stood in the 
  465. doorway of the large cathedral like room.
  466.     "Buffy, you weren't invited."
  467.     "Well you know me, I just love to crash."  Buffy walked over 
  468. and stood between Spike and Angel's bodies.
  469.     "Well, since you're here, I guess we can start with the 
  470. surprise."
  471.     "Sounds good to me," Buffy said encouraging Drusilla to try 
  472. something, anything.
  473.     "I would like you to meet a friend of mine." Drusilla turned 
  474. to the man and tilted her head, indicating for him to remove his hood. 
  475. Buffy watched in horror as the tall demon she once called a friend 
  476. revealed his face.  The rumors were true. Once called upon, a demon 
  477. would invade the body of a vampire and use the appearance as a 
  478. weapon. Giles was Drusilla's vampire of choice.  She laughed as she 
  479. watched Buffy's face fade to a paler white than usual. 
  480.     "I think you two have met," Drusilla said still laughing hysterically.  
  481. Giles didn't move as he watched Buffy's face switch between emotions.
  482.

  522. powerful vampire would be her only advantage.  Buffy smiled as she 
  523. approached the table that stood between her and her enemies.  
  524.     "Don't just stand there. Let's get on with it. I'd like to be done by the

  526.     "Not at all," Drusilla said sounding confused. She couldn't tell if Buffy's 
  527. reaction was just an act. While Drusilla pondered Buffy's thoughts she 
  528. was hit in the chin with the table. Buffy had flipped it up and hit her and 
  529. Giles sending them falling to their backs.  Buffy threw the table over at 
  530. Willow who barely dodged it.    
  531.     Giles got to his feet and hit Buffy in the face with a hard punch.  She 
  532. turned her head away for a second and then hit him right back.  Strength 
  533. she never knew she had filled her body.  Buffy punched him continuously 
  534. preventing him from having the chance to strike back. All the anger that 
  535. she had inside of her came out through her fists.  Her punches and kicks 
  536. got stronger each time.  Finally she drew back for a final hit and struck him 
  537. directly in the face. He was sent flying into a wall. Buffy went after him,
  538. drew 
  539. out a stake and shoved it into his chest.  The body exploded into dust.
  540.     "Sorry Giles," Buffy mumbled under her breath. 
  541.     Buffy walked over and grabbed Drusilla by her shoulders, lifting her up 
  542. into the air.  "You made a big mistake coming here!" She threw her across 
  543. the room. Spike watched her hit a wall and crawled over to her. 
  544.     "Dru, are you hurt?"
  545.     "Spike," she said sincerely, as she saw the love in his eyes. 
  546.     "I'm here baby," He smiled at her perfect features that he missed so 
  547. much over the years.
  548.     "Spike, get away from her. This is my fight." Buffy charged towards them 
  549. and Spike stood up to block her.
  550.     "No, not anymore."  Spike stood firmly in front of Drusilla. 
  551.     "Get *out* of my way. She is going to pay for what she did to me."
  552.     "You don't see how alike you two are. Don't you get it? It's not her your 
  553. mad at. It's him." Spike pointed at Angel who was still trying to understand 
  554. what was going on.  Buffy turned to look at Angel and then back at Spike.  
  555. She stared at him, her face showing the confusion she was suffering from.
  556.     "He made her insane. He killed everyone she loved. Who do you think 
  557. taught her how to do it to you?" Spike looked down at Drusilla's face that 
  558. looked almost sad. She could see all the death and pain that Angel caused 
  559. her replaying in her mind over and over.
  560.     "You're right. He's the one I've been mad at all these years. As the 
  561. slayer and now as a vampire. Dru did what she did because she loved you. 
  562. Now, that I still don't understand, but let's not get into that..." Buffy's
  563. words 
  564. faded away as a smile replaced them.
  565.     "Do you still have that book?" Buffy asked as wheels turned in her head.
  566.     "Yeah...why?" 
  567.     "I just realized something." The pieces of the puzzle began to fit 
  568. together.  "Go get the book. We've got some work to do." Spike picked 
  569. up Drusilla off the floor and left cautiously to get the book. 
  570.     "Buffy?" Xander said as he approached her from behind with Willow 
  571. on his arm.
  572.     "Huh?" Buffy said as she turned around to face them.
  573.     "What are you going to do?" Willow asked, her voice sounding worried.
  574.     "All this time, I never thought vampires were capable of love.  As I 
  575. watched Spike and Dru together, I realized, we are. It's just a matter of 
  576. finding it." Oz joined Willow and Xander by Buffy and they all continued to 
  577. stare at her confused. 
  578.     "I found it," Buffy said with a smile as she looked at Angel.

  608. This story is something that happens after Killed By Death. Probally 
  609. a Third season type story. This story has some pretty graphic descriptions 
  610. and some people may be upset by the story. There is a PG-13 rating on 
  611. this story however, there is no sex or sexual situations. Just some Buffy 
  612. like language and violence. This story will go on for a while, or until I come
  613. up with a way to end it. The characters, Buffy, Xander, Willow, etc. belong 
  614. to Joss Whedon, The WB, Sandollar, etc.

  617.     "I still don't get it, Buffy." Spike said almost irritated.
  618.     "The two of you love eachother right?"
  619.     "Right," they said together.
  620.     "Well, in case you hadn't noticed, you're not going to get anywhere 
  621. with Angel around. 
  622.     "True," Spike said starting to understand her plan.
  623.     Buffy turned to see Angel walking about across the room.  "Hey Angel, 
  624. come over here a second," Buffy requested.
  625.     "What?" Angel said as he walked over to them, still slightly delirious 
  626. from his head wounds.
  627.     "What's the last thing in the world you want?"    
  628.     "There are lots of things, could you be more specific?" Angel's voice 
  629. was sarcastic.
  630.     "Would you say that having a soul is one of those things?"
  631.     "What are you getting at Buffy?" Angel stared into her eyes trying to
  632. understand what she had up her sleeve. The rest of the group caught on to 
  633. her idea and smiled at the thought. 
  634.     "What better way to make Angelus suffer than to bring back his favorite 
  635. friend, Angel."  Buffy looked up into Angel's fuming eyes as he realized what 
  636. she had planned. 
  637.     "Not a chance," Angel said, almost positive that they wouldn't get away 
  638. with it. 
  639.     "Well, Angel, there are six of us and one of you. Who do you think is 
  640. going to win?" Buffy started to laugh as Angel tried to run away. Xander 
  641. stepped into his path.
  642.     "Nope."  Angel tried to dodge him but again was blocked, by Oz. 
  643.     "Not this way either."  Drusilla watched the fun and decided to join in. 
  644. She broke away from Spike's embrace and walked over behind Angel.
  645.     "Angel, darling." Angel spun around to feel Drusilla's hard left hook 
  646. connect with his nose. He fell to the ground, unconscious. Something 
  647. about that left hook that was just magical.
  648.     "Where can I learn how to do that?" Willow asked, amazed that 
  649. someone could actually knock him out.  Drusilla turned around and danced 
  650. her way back to Spike's arms with a smile on her face.
  651.     "Now, let's get started," Buffy instructed and everyone went to work.
