Hasn't Bianca had a role on "Sister Sister" as this girl who really

Does anyone know if WGN will be shifting Buffy from 7:00 p.m. if the Cubs
have to play a game on Tuesday to break the Wild Card race. I went to the
WGN schedule listings and did a search on Buffy to see what the second
episode was going to be and the search indicated that "Buffy" wasn't found.
It indicated that if it wasn't found that meant that it wasn't schedule to
be on for at least two weeks.
I don't want to be an alarmist but I would imagine that WGN wouldn't
hesitate to take Buffy off on Tuesday to show the Cubs. It sucks and I
can't help but hope that the Cubs lose!
Anyone got any intel on this sitch.

Did anyone else find it hilariously funny that the little karate kid wouldn't
sit next to Sarah on the couch. . . even after Jay asked him to move? : )
Also, the "dragon eyes" were priceless. For anyone who cares, they showed the
Burger King commercial. One last thing, at the closing credits of the tonight
show they showed, "Buffy the Vampire clips provided by. . . " but I don't
recall them showing a clip. Was I just not paying attention?

After Jay's monologue, where he says "Tonight, my guests are...", when he
mentioned Sarah, the screen in the background showed a 2 second clip of
season 3 where she says "I'm Buffy". But it was in the background and
without audio.
As for WGN and the Cubs, if there is a playoff, A) it'll be during the day,
and B) it'll be on ESPN. So there shouldn't be any conflict with the
schedule.

During Jay's prologue on that screen of his when he was announcing
the guests for the show Sarah's image popped up on the screen..I believe
it was from episode 2 of the New season.

The "Dragon Eyes" was this look that the 6 year old black belt guest was
showing Jay Leno. The kid did them, and then Leno did them, and then Leno
asked Sarah to do them. Basically it was just looking into the camera and
narrowing her eyes, but it was really funny!

I've typed this so often that I feel like I should put it in a file so I can
just zap it in when the conversation comes around to here.
Angel was out drinking. That does not make him a bad man. BUT:
1) He was willing to steal *his father's* silver to keep on drinking;
2) He had complete contempt for his father, and this in a day and age when
such was not acceptable, nay, mandatory, among young people;
3) He was prepared to leave his companion dead drunk in the gutter. In that
day there were no cops on the beat. To be dead drunk in a dark street at
night meant being robbed at least. Angel had not the smallest shred of
loyalty.
I maintain that this very economically crafted scene was not an accident.
Joss is trying to show is in 15 seconds or less exactly what Angel was, and
making a damned fine job of it.

Just goes to show you... Angel's a bad guy who got what he
deserved (sword through the chest and all...). I probably don't mean
that as much as it sounds, but us Xander fans gotta bash the
competition! Come to think of it though, Xander did neglect the most
gorgeous redhead on the planet (Willow of course...), but it's all good
cause it he had aspirations towards Buffy and (later) Cordelia. You
can't fault Xander for his taste; after all, he did admit that he loves
Willow (albeit when she's unconcious...). Anyway, Xander rocks, and
Angel doesn't (at least as much... :) )

Well I don't think the soundtrack will be out for a while because
www.buffy.com is asking for our "help" with the artists to put on it.
This means that the tracks have to be decided, put on the disk and the
artwork needs to be done. This can take a long time and I'm sure that
the WB network is more concerned with getting a Dawson's Creek
soundtrack out (hey which Cd do you think would sell more...one with
Third Eye blind or Sprung Monkey?)

Angel and Angelus are supposed to signify two very different people. Angel
didn't do any of these things, Angelus did. There's no grey area there, only
black and white. The conflict comes with the fact that Angel and Angelus share
the same body and are constantly in a struggle for it.

OK, ok, now I'm not going to sit here and NOT put my 4 cents worth....how many
people loved Angel when he had his soul, and how many people still loved him
after he didn't.....I know I did! Just because he hurt some people, and he
will regret it (look at all his brooding after he had hurt all those other
people when he had just got his soul back, the first time....that WAS what the
curse was supposed to do in the first place) If the person you loved the most
got high or whatever, and killed a bunch of people, and then said they didn't
remember, and that they regretted it, wouldn't you forgive them and believe
them? It's the same.....so Angel didn't deserve what he got, just my opinion,
and I'm not flaming.....just my 4 cents worth...

Okay- I've already thrown in my two cents, but I can't let y'all trash Angel
without me giving an adequate (or an attempt at adequate- in my many majors at
OSU I had pre-law for two and a half semesters) Here's my take on Angel. First
know this. I'm not little miss perfect- I've had my parties, my nights when I
had one too many, and just generally stupid actions. As per the drinking
stuff- um, I was high school salutorian, am on a merit scholarship at OSU, and
am a National Merit Semi-Finalist (yes I'm bragging but it's to make a point).
And as I said before, I've been drunk on a couple of occassions (ie: my 18th,
at a graduation party, and a sorority party- unlike SMG I was NOT sober
sister) and I do drink socially. I don't think drinking makes someone a bad
person (so I do agree with you on that part). Plus, while we're talking
acceptable for the time period, drinking was a total given. Ale, wine or some
other alcoholic beverage was served at virtually every meal- water was not
safe to drink, milk wasn't anything like what we know (the whole pastuerized,
homogenized stuff). So the sin in this case would have been gluttony. The
whole silver thing, um my best defense is that to be turned into a demon is
not fitting punishment for theft. Parental respect: I didn't see his father
actually there, did you (I'm flaming a little sorry)? Most people trash their
parents behind their backs no matter what the time.
Leaving his friend in the gutter- he was drunk! Why do you think people drink
and drive? They aren't entirely responsible for what they do while drunk- yes
responsible for getting there but actions after are a little different. And,
trust me, things seem a whole lot funnier when you're drunk. I think Angel's
judgement was clouded and he didn't realize what exactly the implications of
his actions were. For example, I now have a vandalization and an indecent
exposure charge due to my first sorority party- very lucky to have kept my
scholarship and have never gotten drunk since that party. But Angel never had
the chance to repent until it was too late.
I think you're right, though, that this scene was Joss's way of giving us an
insight into Angel's life before his unlife. But I think that it shows he was
no saint- he was a stupid kid (kid being like me- knowledgable but with plenty
of mistakes ahead). I don't think he was supposed to be a total nasty. I'm
done, I think. Ah, if only my senior thesis could be on Buffy. Sorry list-
mommies for taking up so much space.

Subject: BUFFY: re;Snyder
From multiple texevid sources we have learned that the
authorities know more about what is going on in and around Sunnydale than
is general knowledge. It's late and my sleep-deprived brain is
throwing up some other answers besides a cover-up to keep the town from
dissolving as the residents flee in panic. what if they are trying to
make use of the weirdness, a la the "voodoo war" stuff the CIA and KGB
were experimenting with during the cold war? We could be looking at an
area-51/ X-files conspiracy, with our favorite tin dictator assigned to
the school as an anti-watcher, who is trying to get rid of Buffy and co.
because they are killing off the vamps and demons, interfering big time
with the "official" attempts to understand and make use of (cut deals
with?), the paranormal stuff that is attracted to the Hellmouth.
On the other hand..... most of the vamps encountered so far have
been (to quote Snyder) "deeply stupid" The vast majority that get picked
off on the Slayer's routine patrols seem to be newly made, acting mostly
from instinctive needs to kill and feed, without a whole lot of planning
going on. But what if an older, smarter, more powerful vamp spent 2-3
decades working his/her way into the local power structure (city council.
mayor, police dept) There could well be a coven or clan of vampires
actually running things behind the scenes, pulling strings to have weird
happenings explained away and for investigations to come out the 'right'
way. If this "family" (to borrow from more usual organized crime groups)
is the unseen guiding hand, it goes a long way to explaining the wall of
hostility greeting the arrival of a Slayer in their midst. This would
also be a VERY tough nut to crack. as the only way to get to the vamps
would be past or through armed humans (whether co-opted police,
rent-a-cops, willing Ignores, dupes, or just criminal goons).

Oh I think this anti-Angel sentiment goes waaaaaaaaay back, before
he died, heck before he even got his soul back. Most of us Angel
"haters" have had problems with him for a very long time. Consider it a
personality thing... most of the Angel-"haters" really like Xander...
curious but true.

Oh that's what I like about this list, we're all pretty good about
knowing the difference between joking and serious flaming. Man, do we
kick butt or what???

He also played the big baddie in Mortal Kombat: Annihilation (Shao Kahn I
think). It was a rather large part.
