  165. The term would be flesh eater.  I think the hyenia episode showed that meat
  166. eating is evil. When the gang was possessed they preyed on the weak (a trait
  167. of the evil), first they consumed a pig, then the principal. I think this
  168. episode demonstrated that meat eaters aren't that far from canibals and
  169. other violent perpetrators. Anyone agree?

  201. You need to do research on factory farmed egg production. The male chicks
  202. hatched egg factory farms are suffocated or ground up alive because they are
  203. of no efficient use. The layer hens are crammed in to cages 1/5 the size of
  204. what would be comfortable.  The word is vegan. Sorry people, I didn't want
  205. to get off topic, but I can't allow ignorance to go unchallenged.

  496. earth.  Animals eating other animals has happened for eon's and is a part
  497. of nature...if you think we meat eaters are evil sadists come meet me at

  535. and they didnt have the book out on the shelf so i asked one of the clerks
  536. and not only did he go in the back and open up a box for me, but he told me
  537. how cool he thought that show was!!! so it is barnes and noble for me guys!
  538. and i finally got my copy of The Harvest!!!!!

  555.     Uh...BtVS definitely doesn't seem like a children's show to me.  
  556. The subject matter is more mature, the violence is much more realistic
  557. (Buffy doesn't have sparks flying off of her when she's injured), and the
  558. dialogue is more intelligent.  I do see some similarities between MMPR
  559. and BtVS, (especially the scene in "Angel" when the Master has his temper
  560. tantrum over losing Darla), but BtVS is, overall, the superior show.

  562.     Being a fanatical fan of two children's shows (Saban Spliced
  563. Sentai, AKA Power Rangers, VR Troopers, etc., and Transformers Classic
  564. and BW), I definitely don't think that BtVS is intended for children.

  596. I saw the promo for IKWYDLS twice yesterday (I went to see Excess Baggage
  597. (not bad, but not the greatest film) and Kull the Conqueror (Badly
  598. mangled "The Hour of the Dragon" with some of "By this Axe I Rule!"
  599. sprinkled in.)  I think the movie'll be great, and I plan to go see it as
  600. soon as it comes out.   (I'm not so sure about Scream 2, but I may check
  601. out the first one, even if it doesn't have SMG in it.)

  627. I'd personally shop at Crown or McKay's Used Books...because, frankly,
  628. I'm a cheapskate, and Borders + B&N jack up their prices too much (even
  629. if they do have an excellent selection.  (I also think it's stupid that
  630. you were insulted over buying a copy of "The Harvest."  Even if they
  631. didn't like the show, it's just not good business sense to insult the
  632. customer.  (Okay, getting off topic, I'll shut up now.)

  814. Here's a hint-- find a 30-something who liked the old Godzilla movies as

  818. generally has better plots! <g>)

  1076. I personally think it would be wrong for Buffy to go out with Xander. 
  1077. She would be destroying her relationship with Willow (If someone ever 
  1078. did that to me I could never forgive them. Believe me I know from 
  1079. experience.). And Buffy and Xander would more or less inevitably break 
  1080. up, and maybe not on good terms. She would end up losing the only two 
  1081. friends she had. Thats just what I think.

  1117. located.  Maybe there should be a web page for XMission List
  1118. personalities?  Something where you can post something about yourself,
  1119. where you are, etc? Just an idea, since everyone seems interested in

  1150. ObBUFFY:  Thanks to Flagg I've finally seen the promos.  I like the new
  1151. logo a lot, but I'm glad the show is still called "Buffy the Vampire
  1152. Slayer."  Is everyone sure Buffy is dancing with Xander--I think it could
  1153. be Angel.  It looks to me like there's a shot of Willow and Xander standing
  1154. up on the balcony watching them.
