It actually has to do with how close to the beginning of a line it is.
Something like 20 characters. I really hate this aspect of the mailer (sort
of like the surging on my R1100 (had to get some BMW content in there
somewhere))

Tom;
Must have been all that non-pc language you used. To wit:
>request of type /^\s*help\s*$/i at line 8
You should know better than to talk like that in a public forum!

Subject: BB: Randy Montgomery-need blood
Randy has shown some improvement today with some decreased intercranial
pressure. It is possible that they may try to repair his femur and humerus
tomorrow but may not due to changes in intercranial pressure when they lay
hime down flat which they need to due to perform surgery.
According to Andy, Randy has been given over 20 units of blood and
over 20 units of packed cells. As I recall, it takes over 8 units of blood
to make one unit of packed cells. That's over 180 units of blood! He may
need more during surgery. Randy is supposed to have good medical inurance
but if extended care is needed the cost of blood can sure add to the
bill-especially in this quantity. His son-in-law George, has asked that
anyone interested in donating blood can do so at the University Hospital in
Randy's name. His blood type is A- but you can donate no matter what your
type is and it will still be credited toward Randy's account. To donate, go
to the main entrance and take the elevator downstairs and follow the signs
to the blood bank. Jeff Smith
and I will be donating tomorrow morning in for the Utah British Bike Club.
I throw down the gauntlet and raise a challenge to the other clubs-Tom
Kullen
*Don Sanborn-can you send this out to the Park City list as well. Thanks.
*Bob Jenson-can you get this on the Moto-Italia list also. Thanks.

Hi everyone,
I visited with Randy's daughters today when I went to
the hospital to give blood. He is doing a bit better today, but they are
still waiting for better conditions before operating on him. Heather
asked me to pass on the following times when you can go to give blood in
Randy's name.
It is at the University Hospital Blood Donor Center, located on Level A,
room 209.
The hours are: Mon, Wed., Fri. 9am to 7:30pm
Tue., Thur. 9am to 6pm
Sat., Sun. 9am to 3am
Thank you, and let's all keep praying for Randy's recovery.

They are putting Randy in a deeper drug induced coma to keep stimulus down
to a minumum to help relieve some of the cranial pressure. He is not yet
stable
enough to go to surgery to fix his leg or arm.About a dozen folks showed up
so far to donate blood. This is only a drop in the bucket though compared to
what he has used so far and what he may need for surgery. It only took an
hour and really does not hurt a bit. Hope some of you guy's can help-the
family really appreciates it.

Dumb question. Does anyone know if there is any way us folks in the northern
part of the state could donate blood, say in Ogden, that could be credited to
Randy's account at the University hospital?

Why don't you call your local hospitals and ask them. It is worth a try.

Subject: BB: Tech Support
Dear Tech Support,
Last year I upgraded from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0 and noticed that
the new program began unexpected child processing that took up a lot of
space and valuable resources. No mention of this phenomenon was
included in the product brochure. In addition, Wife 1.0 installs itself
into all other programs and launches during system initialization, where
it monitors all other system activity. Applications such as Poker Night
10.3, Drunken Boys Night 2.5 and Sunday Football 5.0 no longer run,
crashing the system whenever selected. I cannot seem to keep Wife 1.0
in the background while attempting to run some of my other favorite
applications. I am thinking about going back to Girlfriend 7.0, but the
uninstall does not work on this program. Can you help me, Please!
Thanks,
A TROUBLED USER
Dear TROUBLED USER:
This is a very common problem men complain about but is mostly due to a
primary misconception. Many people upgrade from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife
1.0 with the idea that Wife 1.0 is merely a UTILITIES & ENTERTAINMENT
program. Wife 1.0 is an OPERATING SYSTEM and designed by its creator to
run
everything. It is unlikely you would be able to purge Wife 1.0 and
still convert back to Girlfriend 7.0. Hidden operating files within
your system would cause Girlfriend 7.0 to emulate Wife 1.0 so nothing is
gained. It is impossible to uninstall, delete or purge the program
files from the system once installed. You cannot go back to Girlfriend
7.0 because Wife 1.0 is not designed to do this. Some have tried to
install Girlfriend 8.0 or Wife 2.0 but end up with more problems than
the original system. Look in your manual under "Warnings-Alimony/Child
Support".
I recommend you keep Wife 1.0 and just deal with the situation. I
suggest installing background application program C:\YES DEAR to
alleviate software augmentation. Having Wife 1.0 installed myself, I
might also suggest you read the entire section regarding General
Partnership Faults (GPFs). You must assume all responsibility for
faults and problems that might occur, regardless of their cause. The
best course of action will be to enter the command C:\APOLOGIZE. In any
case, avoid excessive use
of YES DEAR because ultimately you will have to give the APOLOGIZE
command
before the operating system will return to normal. The system will run
smoothly as long as you take the blame for all the GPFs. Wife 1.0 is a
great program, but very high
maintenance. Consider buying additional software to improve the
performance
of Wife 1.0. I recommend Flower 2.1 and Diamonds 5.0. Do not, under any
circumstances, install Secretary With Short Skirt 3.3. This is not a
supported application for Wife 1.0 and is likely to cause irreversible
damage to the operating system.
Sincerely,
Tech Support
