I checked on this and found it to be a hoax. The year may only display two
digits, but it is stored in 4 digits.

I had a very quiet, but enjoyable Stanley Stomp. The food and company was
great. I had forgotten how beautiful the scenery is going through Stanely
and Sun Valley. Made it home just a little before 3PM. You BB's are
really a great bunch of people and are a pleasure to camp with. Thanks and
hope to see you all very soon!

Gavin. Rick and I looked for you on the way home. We hit a dust storm between
Arco and Blackfoot that was like something out of Lawrence of Arabia. All in
all it was a fairly cool temperature ride home until we reached Tremonton.
Other than the rain, or too much of it, the Stanley Stomp was great.

that weren't much more exciting than the freeway, but I did manage to avoid
dust storms. Take care.

Had a great weekend; great people, not to bad on the drink, and food which left
me in a rather numb state on Sat. night. I really don't recommend eating all
that was served on Sat. night to anybody that is health concious. You should
plan on taking your own doggie bag if attending next year. There was a trail of
cholestral all the way to Sunbeam, but I believe there was alot of road
chuckling on the way home as everyone had a chance to ponder the jokes that were
told around the camp fire on that last full night at Bonanza.
looking forward to next year,

Rick: Depending on which way you come it is between 625 and 700 miles home
from Sipapu. I have always done it in one day on Sunday. Dave and Joan
usually take two days to get back but tend to ride way North in Colorado and
usually spend the night around Montrose or Delta.

Dave Williams and I did 780 miles last year on our return from Sipapu on
Sunday. With the exception of I-80 after Heber, we were able to stay off of
any major hiway. Passes such as Wolf Creek Pass, and Slumgullion (over Lake
City) make the day go by rather quickly. An easy one day ride.

Is anyone seriously thinking about going to this year's Burning Man Festival
in the Black Rock Desert. The tickets are up to about $100.00. I am afraid
to
go alone, afraid I might enjoy it so much, shead all my inhibitions and join
whatever remains of the counter culture. We could go dressed as M
Missionairies!

First of All, it would have to be re-named, Burning Person, or Burning Entity.
We would not want to be Gender Specific, and it would have to be
cross-cultural, cross sexual, (whatever that may be), and take into account
all cosmological explanations for the beginning of the earth and life thereon.
Also, if we can turn it into a pyramid type scheme, I want to be on the top
tier.

Burning Man won't happen in Park City... a place of rectitude, decorum, and
lofty aspirations... the command center of which is O'Shucks bar.
