  1. Setting up Windows NT for Zipcon
  2. --------------------------------

  4. Double Click on My Computer
  5.  
  6. Double Click on Dial-up Networking
  7.  
  8. If you have not used dial-up networking, it will pop up
  9. with: "The phonebook is empty.  Press OK to add an entry."
  10. Press OK.  Otherwise, click "New".
  11.  
  12. Enter "Zipcon" for the name and click Next.
  13.  
  14. Choose "I am calling the Internet." and click Next.
  15.  
  16. Enter the phone number "206-576-7500" and click Next.
  17.  
  18. Click Finish.
  19.  
  20. Click on the "More" button and choose "Edit entry
  21.  and modem properties".
  22.  
  23. Click on the "Security" tab and make sure that "Accept any
  24.  authentication including cleartext" is checked. Then click OK.
  25.  
  26. Click Dial.
  27.  
  28. Enter your login name in all lowercase in the "User name" field.
  29.  
  30. Enter your exact password in the "Password" field.
  31.  
  32. You MUST leave the Domain field blank.
  33.  
  34. Click "Save password" if you want it to save your password.
  35.  
  36. Click OK and it should dial and connect up!
