<p>Many people argued that we didn't need a sequel to Bioshock, but Bioshock 2 was enjoyable and very much worth the return trip to Rapture. At the end of the game, however, I did feel strongly that the tale had been told. Having Irrational Games return to the series with a new setting but familiar aesthetics is wonderful, and things already feel fresh and exciting.</p>

<p><em><a href="http://www.neuroshimahex.com/">Neuroshima Hex</a></em> is a tactical tile-based game where two armies square off on a grid of hexes and seek to destroy the opponent's HQ. By placing tiles that represent attacking units, tiles that gives certain units buffs, and tiles that represent immediate actions such as throwing a grenade, you're able to attack your opponent and hopefully whittle his HQ's hit points down to nothing.</p>

Undercroft</a> is an iPhone RPG that's reminiscent of the old Elder Scrolls games; it's turn based, and seen from a first-person perspective (even though you actually play a party of adventurers). This is strictly fantasy fare, and it doesn't do a lot that's new. For the first few quests, you're fighting rats and spiders, and you'll need to level up, deal with loot, and do lots and lots of exploring and quest completing before getting anywhere. But as traditional as it is, it's actually a lot of fun, and the retro format translates well to the iPhone's touchscreen. We've seen elsewhere that the iPhone can do next-gen games, but it's nice to see older forms like this finding a tidy home on the App Store.</p>

The new version boasts a number of features that are new to Mac users, most notably the bundled Elements Organizer, which acts as a hub for importing, managing, and viewing photo and video files.</p>
<p>Per <a href="http://www.macworld.com/article/154209/2010/09/photoshopelements9_announce.html">Macworld</a>, Photoshop Elements 9 includes one of Photoshop CS5′s most popular features, Content Aware Fill, and puts it into the Spot Healing Brush. Shares of Apple hit a new high of $287.36 in volatile trading Tuesday, only to settle back down to $283.77 by market close -- still a daily gain of 54 cents. The gain was pushed on by a wave of good news, anchored by the iPad's good reception in China and Apple's plans to sell the iPhone 4 in that country Sept. 25, not to mention Apple stellar showing in the latest American Consumer Satisfaction Index. Curious to see what was new, I'd go back into the app and check out the notifications ... only to find notifications for stuff I'd already read. This wasn't a "once in a while" kind of bug, either; it happened nearly every time I used the app.</p>
<p>Facebook's app has been updated to 3.2.3, and it claims to fix not only the push notifications issues but also crashes associated with viewing messages and errors involving Facebook's Places feature.
