KT Corp., the country's biggest telecom operator, which has an exclusive contract to offer iPhones in South Korea, said it may be as much as two months before the company can offer the device to its customers. The government's approval is just a regular procedure and it normally takes about one or two months to talk about business matters before launching, according to the "Journal."</div></div></span>

They added that Apple still hasn't negotiated the kind of licensing deals it would need to distribute music from the cloud, the article adds. Not surprisingly, an Apple spokesman declined to comment.
Apple bought Lala last September. Lala offered "the first and only free fully licensed service to instantly provide anywhere web access to an existing music library such as iTunes." Apple's goal is probably to allow Apple to implement a new iTunes feature that would allow users to stream their purchased media content remotely. In fact, rumors of such a service surfaced earlier this year.

"Apple strongly cautions against installing any software that hacks the OS," Apple says in a bulletin on its support forum. "It is also important to note that unauthorized modification of the iOS is a violation of the Phone end-user license agreement and because of this, Apple may deny service for an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch that has installed any unauthorized software."
The note was published last month, prior to the Library of Congress' ruling that jailbreaking is not a violation of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act and is therefore legal. According to the report, among operating systems, Mac OS X had 5.06% of the global market share in May, compared to 5.16% in June (that's global market share; in the US it's almost 10 %). Windows remains dominant with 91.32% as of July. That's down from 91.46% in June. Apple's highest percentage previously was 5.27% in October 2009.
When it comes to browsers, Safari had 5.09% in July compared to 4.85% in April, while Internet Explorer had 60.74% Firefox had 22.91% and Chrome had 7.16%. That compares to, respectively, June percentages of 60.32%, 23.81% and 7.24%, for the browsers.

The report also reveals that MocoSpace members, unlike those of other major social networks, are actually trending younger, averaging 25.1 years, down 1.5 years from Q1. New to Cumulus Sites is an option that sends email links that enable users to download requested files at later times so they can close browser windows without having to wait for large-file downloads to complete. File sharing via Sites has also been improved.
Collection links can now be viewed, edited and reused, so users can see which settings were used, and more quickly re-share files. Embargo dates can ensure shared files are not available until specified times, and new social media sharing options make it easy to post files to Facebook, Flickr, Twitter and 12 other social networks.
Flash movies and MP3 files can now be streamed from within Sites, and PDF files can be previewed at full resolution without additional plug-ins or software. An in-browser slideshow...</div></div></span>

It now scans for duplicate files and applications and for empty folders anywhere on your system.
CleanApp requires Mac OS X 10.4.11 or 10.5. It's Universal Binary so runs natively on both PowerPC and Intel Macs.
CleanApp can be purchased for US$15. CleanApp 3.4 is a free update for existing users. Registration codes of these prior versions will automatically work with CleanApp 3. For new users the cost is US$15.</div></div></span>

° LLVM for RBScript: RBScripts now run up to 17 times faster than in previous releases. Using LLVM for RBScript is the first step towards the adoption of LLVM for building applications in REAL Studio.
° Cocoa (neta):  The option to build for Cocoa is now available, but is at the beta stage.  There are some new features for Cocoa builds, such as Pushbutton now has a ButtonStyle property that gives access to nine new styles of pushbuttons. 
° Documentation: The REAL Studio documentation is now locally stored and the user can choose between viewing the local version or the online documentation.
° Reporting improvements: To make reporting easier, reports can now take a RecordSet directly to report upon.
°Database Improvements: ODBC and REALSQLDatabase queries and updates no longer block the other threads while they are...</div></div></span>

In addition to that, KeyCue 5.1 improves the installation and upgrade experience by displaying a more prominent warning when a new version is not covered by the current license, and by allowing to skip one particular version in the automatic update check.
KeyCue detects and displays an instant overview of all shortcuts. Until now, KeyCue could show only keyboard shortcuts that are visible in a program's regular menus. Version 5 also comes with a new technique for easy installation and update and offers further improvements, like an option to specify on which display the shortcut table shall appear.

Mac WPS is a Cocoa application to track your geographic position using OS X wi-fi geo-tracking and other available hardware to detect your coordinate in the more precise way via Apple core location.
Mac WPS shows your position over a zoomable map. The map can be shown with the zoom level you prefer and maintain this zoom level during position upgrade. The map can scroll maintaining current position at the window center.
The map is interactive, and you can drag scroll and drag zoom. A demo is available for download. An Intel-based Mac is required.

The company has developed a research prototype representing the world's first silicon-based optical data connection with integrated lasers.
The link can move data over longer distances and many times faster than today's copper technology; up to 50GB of data per second. This is the equivalent of an entire HD movie being transmitted each second.
Today computer components are connected to each other using copper cables or traces on circuit boards. Due to the signal degradation that comes with using metals such as copper to transmit data, these cables have a limited maximum length. This limits the design of computers, forcing processors, memory and other components to be placed just inches from each other.
