The iPad will reportedly have 512MB of RAm and see the light of day in the first quarter of 2011. Apple will also launch a 7-inch iPad using the Cortex-A9 processor and an IPS panel with a resolution of 1024√ó768, according to Digitimes Research senior analyst Mingchi Kuo.

China Unicom will sell 8GB iPhones with third-generation service and Wi-Fi throughout China starting Monday. The company also sells 16GB and 32GB iPhones without Wi-Fi.
Beijing barred use of Wi-Fi while the government tried to develop a competing Chinese system, dubbed WAPI but regulations issued this year allow Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi is seen as important to the success of the iPhone in China because many people want to use the devices to surf the web, but don't want to pay higher data rates for using the mobile network. In the past China has required mobile phones with Wi-Fi also to support WAPI, a "homegrown" security protocol.</div></div></span>

Apple has made no announcement about the iPad being sold in China at this time. On Monday, the device was given the China Compulsory Certification by the China Quality Certification Center.
By receiving the certification, the iPad has cleared a major government hurdle to allow the product to be exported and sold to the Chinese market. But, as "PC World" notes, the device will likely need the approval of China's Telecommunications Equipment and Certification Center.</div></div></span>

In a note to clients, Charlie Wolf, an analyst at Needham & Company, says that, that during the June quarter, Windows users purchased half of the 677,000 Macs sold in the stores. This represented over 20% of the estimated number of Windows users who switched to a Mac during the quarter, he says.

In fact, it uses Expose for all of its features.
Users can define three pairs of keyboard shortcuts. CMD+Tab will cycle between active apps Expose-style and the other two pairs will switch between windows of the same app or between all windows. Switche can be used to: switch between applications; switch between windows, or switch between the windows of the frontmost application
The software can: skip applications with no open windows; automatically zoom windows (using Expose); and close windows and quit applications by pressing "W" or "Q." Switche is a 2.3MB application that purportedly has no impact on the system.

The program tracks all computer activities, providing an array of monitoring functionality. Invisible in the stealth mode, it logs all keystrokes, saving IM conversations, messages, and basically every phrase typed. What's more, it saves addresses and names of web sites visited and logs all applications running on the computer. To further illustrate what's going on, Personal Monitor automatically takes screen captures warning you if the person you're monitoring is even watching or reading something inappropriate.
The reports generated by the program can be stored locally or sent via e-mail. Personal Monitor features filtering by date and the text search.

"Two vulnerabilities have been identified in Apple iOS for iPhone, iPad and iPod, which could be exploited by remote attackers to take complete control of a vulnerable device," says Vupen. "The first issue is caused by a memory corruption error when processing Compact Font Format (CFF) data within a PDF document, which could be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary code by tricking a user into visiting a specially crafted web page using Mobile Safari. The second vulnerability is caused by an error in the kernel, which could allow attackers to gain elevated privileges and bypass sandbox restrictions. Capo slows down songs from iTunes without changing the pitch, letting users hear every note and chord and play along at their own pace. It allows users to adjust the speed and pitch of audio, independent of one another. Pitch adjustments can be made finely, to match an instrument's tuning, or coarsely, to change the song's key. In addition, users can set markers, and create loops, to aid their learning. All these settings can be saved in Capo documents, so that users can later return to where they left off.
