Portable Sampler, which has a manufacturer's suggested retail price
of US$465. This update to the SP-404 purportedly offers
44.1kHz/16-Bit sound quality, improved DSP effects, a more versatile
pattern sequencer, and easier data management.
The SP-404SX includes 29 DSP effects, including filter, delay, unique
voice effects, subsonic, and looper. There are 12 trigger pads, three
control knobs, and a Sub Pad for rapid triggering.
The built-in microphone and optional battery operation enable
recording with the SP-404SX anywhere. You can also import samples and
utilize the effects onboard for sound design or unique live
performance purposes. The pattern sequencer now includes an improved
quantize mode with a new shuffle feel.</div></div></span>

film, has announced that Boris Continuum Complete 6 AVX for Avid DS
(BCC 6 AVX for DS) is now available for Avid's AVX 2.0 plug-in
architecture.
BCC 6 AVX for DS brings nearly 200 filters to Avid DS Version 10.2.1
and higher. BCC AVX is bundled with all Avid Media Composer and
Symphony systems. With a BCC AVX for DS license, Avid facilities are
now able to conform sequences with AVX 2.0-based BCC effects for
finishing in Avid DS.
In addition to AVX 2.0 support, BCC 6 AVX for DS introduces all-new
Lens Blur, Lens Transition, and Lens Shape filters that emulate lens
blur or rack defocus effects as well as a suite of time-based effects
such as Optical Flow, Optical Stabilizer, and Motion Key.
BCC 6 AVX for DS is immediately available through the Boris FX
worldwide reseller channel and direct from the Boris FX web site at

version of its iSync phone plug-in. The upgrade features support for
the Nokia N97 and N97 mini cell phones.
iSync synchronizes data from Address Book and iCal with a mobile
phone and is part of Mac OS X. The nova media iSync phone plug-ins
extend the number of mobile phones which could be used with iSync.
The iSync plug-in costs approximately US$14; the update is free for
registered users. System requirements are Mac OS X 10.4.11 or higher.</div></div></span>

laptops. The initial Apple Juicz Solar Charger worked with the
MacBook Air only; now the company powers the entire MacBook/MacBook
Pro line including the 13.3, 15 and 17-inch unibody Pros and the
white MacBook.
There are two Apple Juicz models available: 27 watt (US$700) and 55
watt ($1,200), to match your performance needs. They fold up for easy
transport. The Apple Juicz Solar Charger also comes complete with all
cables to let you "go solar." You gain additional power options
through a 2.5mm connector allowing access to other QuickerTek power
products from solar cells to external batteries.
Like most QuickerTek products, the Apple Juicz Solar Charger is
backed with a one-year warranty on parts and labor. Additional

live guitar-vocal performances that weighs about 25.4 pounds,
including the bag and folding stand. Its overall size is 3.5 x 36 x
8.7 inches. The composite enclosure vertical line array
self-amplified system uses eight Audio Piston loudspeakers.
The BagAmp is priced at US$699 with web orders receiving free ground
shipping to USA and Euopean market destinations. Additional markets
