Seabird has two pico projectors. When placed in a dock it uses one of them to project the screen on a nearby wall for easier viewing and the other to project a full-size, virtual keyboard on the table where it sits. A user can then type on the virtual keyboard instead of a tiny on-screen or physical keyboard on the phone.<br />

Changing the View type to List, Cover Flow, or Column View and then closing the window and reopening the window causes the view to revert to Icon View. Ejecting and remounting the image will also lose any changes and revert to Icon View.<br />
<br /><br /><br />
Deleting the .DS_Store file on the mounted image does not help, and there is nothing in <em>com.apple.finder.plist</em> that seems to affect this. This is quite vexing, and appears to be present in all revisions of Snow Leopard, at least through 10.6.4.<br />

Fortunately, there is a workaround.<br />
Here is the process:</p>

This is pretty cool -- it's <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/mikeywally/4694915595/in/photostream/">a bike-mounted iPad-controlled stereo</a> spotted at a recent meetup for a group of BMX riders. There's not a lot of information on how it was all put together (maybe if user Mikey Wally sees this, he can tell us more in the comments below), but it looks like the <a href="http://www.tuaw.com/tag/iPad/">iPad</a> is secured with a handlebars mount, and then it's plugged into a speaker that's stuck on the front. Assuming it is secure (and I hope it is, otherwise you're going to have a very broken iPad), it seems like a pretty wild way to make your music mobile. It's not so much a game as a way to just create all kinds of wacky machines and computer characters, and have them interact in whatever way you'd like.</p>
