  1. PROTPURE.ZIP contains the Window version of Protein Purification.

  3. The zip file contains the following:

  5. PROTEINS.EXE   is the main program
  6. ELECTRO.EXE    handles the electrophoresis simulation
  7. MIXEDIT.EXE    is a mixture editor so you can create new
  8.                .PT1 mixture files
  9. DEFAULT.PT1    is the default mixture - edit this with MIXEDIT
  10.                if you want

  14. PROTPURE.SIT and PROTPURE.HQX are both archive 
  15. files containing the following files for the Macintosh:

  17. Protein Purification  - the main program
  18. Mixture Editor        - make your own mixtures
  19. Default mixture       - a twenty-protein mixture
  20. Three Proteins        - a three-protein mixture
  21.  
  22. PROTPURE.SIT has been produced with Stuffit and
  23. PROTPURE.HQX is PROTPURE.SIT after BinHex has worked on it.

  25. Try PROTPURE.SIT first and if you have trouble, then 
  26. download PROTPURE.HQX.

  28. The copyright for these probably still rests with Oxford
  29. University Press, so it would be best to regard these as
  30. evalution copies.
