Transcription: At 800 meters deep and 4 kilometers across, the Bingham Canyon Open Pit Mine in Utah, in the United States, is one of the largest man-made holes on Earth. It can even be seen from the Moon. This aerial shot shows how the mine reaches deep into the Earth as it follows the ore body downward. The Bingham Canyon Mine has been called the richest hole on Earth because it produces valuable metals metals such as copper, gold, silver and molybdenum.
