  20. A correct bill is of great importance to the customer and the network 
  21. provider. The customer expects the bill to correctly reflect his use 
  22. of the network as well as receiving it in a timely manner. Incorrect 
  23. bills cause the customer to seek reconciliation, which influences the 
  24. customers perception of network quality. The network provider incurs 
  25. expense in handling billing complaints, therefore correct bills 
  26. satisfy both the customer and network provider.

  28. Recommendation E.433 defines the concept of charging correctness and 
  29. the associated objectives, the network parameters affecting charging 
  30. and the functions which contribute to the whole billing procedure, 
  31. to which due attention needs to be paid.
