INTERNATIONAL TELECOMMUNICATION UNION
ITU-T RECOMMENDATION SUMMARY
Rec. No. : D.103
Title : Charging in automatic service for calls terminating on
a recorded announcement stating the reason for the call
not being completed
Study Group : III - Tariff and Accounting Principles
Version : Revised
Date of adoption : 1992
Notes :
In the international automatic service it is desirable for calls
terminating on a recorded announcement provided by an Administration
stating the reason for the call not being completed such as:
- suspended, cancelled or transferred subscribers;
- network failures;
- changes in the numbering plan of the area/country;
- network management actions;
- congestion in the network;
- other reasons of a more general nature;
to receive the same treatment in different countries.
The CCITT considers that no charge should be made for these calls.
