  2. (CHAT) or (NODE) Node CHAT - Function Help

  5. Subcommands:  (#) (G) (A) (U)
  6.  
  7.               (#) is any other active Node Number
  8.               (G) places you in Group CHAT with others
  9.               (A) flags your Node as being available for CHAT (default)
  10.               (U) flags your Node as being Unavailable for CHAT
  11.               
  12. Description:  Allows interactive keyboard conversation with one or more
  13.               other system nodes.  To CHAT with only one other node, enter
  14.               that node's number.  To CHAT with a group of nodes, enter
  15.               (G).  If a Node is unavailable for CHAT, you will be
  16.               advised of such.  If the Node requested is available, they
  17.               will be informed of your request.  When entering (G)roup
  18.               CHAT, only other Nodes which are already in Group CHAT will
  19.               be advised that you have joined them.

  21.               When in Node CHAT, the following subcommands are available:

  23.               (Q), (E), (U), (H)
  24.               
  25.                   (Q) quits Node CHAT
  26.                   (E) also quits Node CHAT
  27.                   (U) displays the status of the other Nodes
  28.                   (H) gives a quick display of these subcommands
  29.                   
  30.               When conversing in Node CHAT, there can be delays between when
  31.               you enter your text to the other person, and the time it takes
  32.               them to respond.  Since text is only sent to the other Node
  33.               when an (Enter) key or word-wrap occurs, there can be time
  34.               periods of several seconds between text coming back to your
  35.               screen.  Please WAIT until it is your turn to type!  End your
  36.               text with a "/ga" or "/o" to indicate it is the other person's
  37.               turn to type - and then WAIT!
