The following additional switches are available over and above those stated
in the manual. All switches may be entered in upper or lower case and start
with any of the following characters '-' or '/' or '\'. All switches once
set need not be used again as they are remembered in the history file. This
file is saved when the game is exited. The high scores and switches set will
not be remembered if the game is exited by rebooting the machine or just
switching it off.
-2 To force acknowledgement of IBM PS/2 model 50. The symptoms that
require this switch are that the keyboard fails to respond correctly.
-k To force acknowledgement of the Tandy keyboard.
-nk To force non recognition of Tandy keyboard, i.e. to use the standard
IBM defaults for keyboards.
-nj To force non-recognition of joysticks. This is required for some
portables as they have active I/O at the joysticks port.
-mx?? This enables the sensitivity of the mouse in the x-direction to be
modified. The default has a value of 12 and the range is from
1 to 255, where 1 is too sensitive to play. The new sensitivity value
should replace the '??'
-my?? This enables the sensitivity of the mouse in the y-direction to be
modified. The default has a value of 12 and the range is from
1 to 255, where 1 is too sensitive to play. The new sensitivity value
should replace the '??'
On a PS/2 Model 50 using a CH products joystick card and a standard IBM
joystick, one with a 100k resistance, the sensitivity should be set to high.
A demo game will begin if you don't start a game within a few minutes. To
exit this demo, press the ESC key.
