  1. Mission objective:\
  2. In spite of your magnificent defence of Hill 214 the state of the overall
  3. war is rather precarious.\\
  4. For this reason it is now important that we strike far into enemy territory
  5. with the aim of reaching Liepzig as quickly as possible.\\
  6. |As our best unit, you will spearhead the first part of
  7. the battalion's northern assault.\\
  8. The aim is to reach the town of Korberg (marked A) as soon as possible.\\
  9. At 06:10 C company will head northwards, and your role is to protect them as
  10. they travel to Korberg.\\
  11. |Since C company is an infantry company travelling in M113 personnel carriers,
  12. they will need as much protection as you can give them.\\
  13. You will have to be particularly aware of attacks from the forests to east and
  14. west.\\
  15. Before C company head off you must try to clear area B.\\
  16. |There are some retreating Polish tanks in this area, as well as a few dug in
  17. positions.\\
  18. We know there is a Soviet tank battalion somewhere in the region, so you must
  19. keep your eyes peeled.\\
  20. It is imperative that there are minimal losses to C company.\\
  21. Good luck and good shooting.
  22. >Team Yankee is situated here.  C company will also embark from here
  23. at 06:10 hours.\\
  24. |Before C company head off you should clear this area of all Polish forces.\\
  25. |Village of Issel.  It is believed that there are not many Soviet troops here.\\
  26. |The town of Korberg.  You must escort C company until they reach the crossroads at the centre of the village.\\

  28. |Team Yankee, the drive forward to Korberg has taken too long.\\
  29. The Soviets have taken hold of positions to the East on the Saale river,
  30. and they now have the upper hand.\\
  31. The war may well be lost thanks to your delay.
  32. |C company has been devastated.\\
  33. Most of its troops have been lost and it is no longer an effective
  34. fighting force.\\
  35. The battalion XO has asked for the mission to be terminated.\\
  36. This forward offensive has been a catastrophe.

  38. |Team Yankee, congratulations are in order once again.\\
  39. You have successfully accompanied C company to Korberg with the
  40. infantry in tact.\\
  41. There is not long to go until your overall mission is completed.

  43. |It will now be rather difficult for Team Yankee to support C company in
  44. their advance on Korberg.
  45. You have lost all of your vehicles.\\
  46. A tank commander without a tank is rather like a fish without water.
