  1. Mission Objective:\
  2. Team Yankee, you are the first Team of our battalion to have seen combat.
  3. You are therefore being asked to spearhead our first attack.\\
  4. To the north of us the Soviet 28th Guards Division is making a concerted
  5. attack on our lines.\\
  6. This attack will take us right into the flank of the enemy.
  7. |Since both C and D infantry companies have got lost en route to our
  8. assembly area, you must make this attack on your own.\\
  9. Your intermediate objective is to take control of objective LOG, marked A
  10. on your map.\\
  11. You must clear all resistance around Objective LOG.\\
  12. |When you have done this, you must follow on to Hill 214,
  13. marked B on the map.
  14. Your ultimate aim is to take control of this hill, clearing out all enemy troops.\\
  15. This will then allow the battalion to take the village of Arnsdorf, to the
  16. north west of Hill 214.\\
  17. |We have no information at all about the disposition of Soviet forces you are
  18. about to face.\\
  19. There may be troops in the village of Lemm, to the south east of
  20. Objective LOG.
  21. You would be best advised to steer clear of there.\\
  22. Team Yankee, this is your first venture behind enemy lines.
  23. Give it your best!
  24. >This is the start position of Team Yankee.\\
  25. You're on your own.\\
  26. Before you rush into the attack make sure you plan your strategy.
  27. |The village of Lemm.  There may be some Soviets here.\\
  28. Since this isn't one of your objectives, you might want to give it a wide
  29. berth.\\
  30. |Objective LOG.  This is your first objective.\\
  31. Make sure that you neutralise all opposition here before continuing.
  32. |The river Lemm. Since your tanks will be exposed as you cross this, take great care.\\
  33. |Hill 214, otherwise known as objective LINK.\\
  34. Your ultimate objective will be to reach the crossroads of the tracks
  35. at the centre of the forest.

  37. |Team Yankee, you have taken too long to reach your objective.\\
  38. As a result you have not caused enough trouble to the flank of the 78th
  39. Guards Division to divert from their main attack.\\
  40. You have been a disaster in your first offensive.

  43. Both objectives have been cleared, and reinforcements are due at any time.\\
  44. You have the rest of the War to look forward to.
