  2. Dear Fellow Pirate:

  4. At Last!  The long awaited revision of Jack Nicklaus
  5. Unlimited Golf & Course Design.  If you were experiencing
  6. one of the following situations, this new version (1.3)
  7. should solve your problem.
  8.  
  9. 1. If you have a math coprocessor, you now will be able to
  10. play against a computer player allowing you to sharpen you
  11. golfing skills.
  12.  
  13. 2. Digitized sounds will now only play on computers with
  14. clockrates greater than 8 Megahertz.  Previously, on systems
  15. 8 MHz or slower, there was an occasional, random freeze when
  16. a digitized sound occurred (when putting, for example).
  17. This was due to a conflict of the clockrate of the system
  18. and the timing of the digitized sound.
  19.  
  20. 3. The Genius mouse will now access all parts of the screen
  21. in the Design program.
  22.  
  23. 4. Cactus will no longer show up unexpectedly on your Royal
  24. Troon Golf Club, Scotland (J1) course in VGA.
  25.  
  26. 5. A flag appearing in the upper left hand corner of the
  27. overhead (out of bounds from the golfer's view) in "tourn"
  28. mode, will no longer happen if all 5 pins are not placed on
  29. a hole when in the Design program (the computer will now
  30. automatically place the other four pins to avoid this
  31. occurence).

  33. 6. The sound (not the music) now toggles on and off.  The
  34. proper keystrokes are ALT-S when in the design program and
  35. F10 when in the golf program.  Please note that music will
  36. play after a round.

  38. A little something extra for those who like to show off
  39. their scores.  You can print your scorecard, only while in
  40. tournament mode.  All you have to do is a shift print
  41. screen. To get into tournament mode, type "tourn" in the
  42. command line (i.e. golf v tourn).  Note:  For a list of the
  43. correct commands, type GOLF (enter) at the prompt.
