It Came from The Desert
Cracking Notes:No Crack Needed
Graphics:All
Sound:IBM/Adlib/Roland/Sound Blaster
Supplied by:The Blademan
Packaged by:The Slavelord
This is the game I have been waiting for for quite some time. It's a
CinemaWare adventure, which is like your typical "1952 Grade B Horror Flick".
I got hooked on it when I had my Amiga 2000 for the weekend, and was
playing It Came from the Desert II. Well, this is ALMOST as good as the
Amiga Version, (doesn't have the digitized sound however). But, it's well
worth the time.
A few notes: You need to install this game off of floppies. But it's worth
it. Unzip each disk onto floppies 1 by 1, and then type "DESERT" from the
A: prompt of disk 1. To SAVE a game, go to the upper left hand corner of
the map and save the click on "SAVEGAME". In order to quit the game, you
will need to reboot the machine. Well, I played the game for a good 45 mins
before packaging it up, just to check it out and make sure everything was
up to THG standards (if not, we would have let INC put it out, like Final
Orbit for example).
If you have any questions on this game, or you need a good Hint, call
my BBS, The Slaves Den, and maybe I can help you out. I will definatly be
playing this game for the next few weeks to come (yes, I uninstalled
Wing Commander to play this puppy!)
Enjoy,
The Slavelord
Special Humble Guys Yahoo goes out to Lord Blix. Good job dude!
Greets to:Eddie The Weenie, Fabulous (I need a REAL Hard Drive) Furlough,
Candyman (Help, I've Fallen and I can't get up!), and Line Noise (Yes,
You THG people WILL get beat on American games!). Yeah Right LN, beat, eh?
We'll see.
Oh yeah, in case you're wondering, this game was purchased at a local
"LeechMayers", which is like a sears, so that shows how fast INC is.
