  18.                          X-96 the successor...

  21. After last years success were going to fly even higher. It will be more wicked
  22. than last year's party.....
  23.  
  24. The party will take place on 6+7 april 1996. 
  25. some things changed, other stayed the same, but it will be fun for sure.
  26.  
  27. The entrance fee is about 30 dutch guilders, though german marks can be
  28. exchanged against a 1 dm=1hfl (only paper, no small change).

  31. The party will be held in the same place as last year's so those who have
  32. already been there know how to find it.
  33. More rooms will be available and we also aranged a sleeping facility (do not
  34. forget your sleeping bag!!!!!).
  35.  
  36. Furthermore we have a meetingplace with a bar and a videocorner. different rooms
  37. for both c-64 and pc. outside is a big parking place and a cafeteria which will
  38. sell all kinds of snacks.
  39. Prices will be reasonable.....(not like tp5).
  40.  
  41. The partyplace can hold about 500 participants so it's imperative that you
  42. make reservations. Those who do not make them might be refused at the entrance.

  46.                        The party will feature:

  48. - 24 hours showing of the latest movies
  49.  
  50. - probably a party network
  51.  
  52. - performances
  53.  
  54. - competitions ofcourse
  55.  
  56. - and some funny things....

  60.     Some things to keep in mind are     
  61.  
  62. - bring your own power cables (grounded)
  63.  
  64. - space is limited, so you can bring a computer but when you bring amplifiers
  65.   etc. we cannot guarantee that you can place them at the party.

  68.               Rules for the competitions
  69.  
  70. - the demo should not have been released yet.
  71.  
  72. - each group can participate with 1 demo
  73.  
  74. - the demo will be released at the party
  75.                           
  76. - the demo will be judged by a competent and partly expert jury
  77.  
  78. - the demo must run on a dx2-66 min. but will be displayed on a pent.100
  79.   15mb and integrated videocard (brand will be announced in a later note).
  80.   sound will come from a gus pro with about 4mb.
  81.   you do not need sound blaster support and the demo doesn't have to be win95
  82.   competible.

  84. - there will also be a music, graphics and intro competitions.

  87. - the same rules apply here except for the music compo. musics must be played
  88.   in either xm, mod, s3m etc or you must supply your own player.

  91.                             How to behave
  92.  
  93. - people who behave criminally will be handed over to the police. softdrugs
  94.   are allowed though.
  95.  
  96. - we are not responsible for losses.
  97.  
  98. - we serve alcohol but when you are too drunk you will be removed from the
  99.   party place.
  100.                                     
  101. - between 00:00 and 06:00 it's either inside or outside.
  102.  
  103. - at any time the organisers keep the right to refuse admittance.

  105. - racist signs and behaviour will not be tolerated.

  112.                     How to make reservations
  113.  
  114. Write a paper including your name, handle, number of computers you bring
  115. along, number of persons, format (c-64 or pc), group etc.
