- Book Of Shadows -
-By: Nosferatu Demo Group 1996-
We finally have released the demo we ourselves have been
waiting for ;) This is our first demo so we expect things to
not be perfect, but we tried anyway. -fire dragon
A lot of you are going to claim we ripped this code...
None of the code used in this production wuz ripped.. We did
however download examples on how to make most of it :) But a
lot of reprogramming wuz done and i think it turned out a lot
better than we expected... (at least a lot better than some
groups first demos ;) ) -lestat
Nosferatu is a demo group that will be releasing demos,
music (.S3M's), and misc programs for various reasons. Demos
may not always be the top priority because of a program like a
tracker that isn't way to hard to use. Either way, things will
get intresting for us. -fire dragon
Obviously fire dragon is not the best at wording thingz ;)
I think he was trying to say... We are looking for people to
who can spelllllllllllll... ;) j/k seriously though, we are
looking for more coderz, muzicianz, artists.... If you wanna
join.. send mail to lestat@world-net.net <-lestat
Currently we use ScreamTracker 3.21 (thanks Future Crew) for
music usually. For our demos we have as usual a mix of languages
for each demo (currently one). Borland Pascal 7.01 for most of
it sprinked liberally with inline Assembler. Borland C/C++ 4.51
for some other things here and there to make it intresting. Turbo
Assembler 3.2 for what we can't figure out how to code correctly
in Pascal or C that is fast enough for us. ;) -fire dragon
fire dragon is currently programming in alcohol| /^
mode... fuck real time! :) but... he usually codez |is drunk
in turbo pascal.. thaz right, your favorite b&d |
language... I am busily learning asm; while lopex |
is learning C++.. sorry thiz iz long and drawn out |
but we are having a celebration party (lotso kahlua)
and i am typing! heheh -lestat 'pfjp'tj'prdt fire dragon
here
DemoVT 1.51 (Thanks Iquana / VangeliSTeam) is currently used
to play the music during the demos, but this is probably going to
change to either Midas .40 for pascal (or v.50 for C), MikMod 2.09b
just to trip everyone out and release a demo under running under
linux (wouldn't that be special?). -fire dragon
Fuckin idiot... We used midas in this demo, not demoVT!!!
heheheh, after we tried DemoVT, me an lopex decided to code
the real f/x in c++ and asm.... unfortunately after compiling the
exe's, we learned that the way fire dragon coded the intro... well
it just didn't work :) Demo VT is a damn good system, but only
if all the code conforms to it, with Midas .40 FOR C & PASCAL
(fd) it works friggin great! so if you aren't coding one major file
then you might wanna use midas, as it works great under BP, BC, WC,
ASM, etc.... -lestat
Enough of that and lets get to what we have done and/or plan
to have done some year in the future. ;) -fire dragon
