The Meeting'95 is the second Coding-Party organized by the IUP GMI of
LILLE I for the communication course.
This year The Meeting is held in LOMME (Near de Lille (Rijsel) ) , in a place
easily joinable if you don't have a car.
The complete address is at the end of the rules. Map will be spread in the
invitation intro ( on PC and Amiga ).
Organizers can change the rules whenever they want, as the infos of
this text. But a important change will create a new info file, and will be
spread on all major supports (Internet,BBS...).
When ?

From Friday 17th February 1995 at 10 AM to Sunday 19th February at 8 PM
(So almost 60 hours non stop !!)

How much does it cost ?
───────────────────────
There is differents passports :
■ COMPLETE PASSPORT
- From Friday to Sunday
- Machines allowed (Computers,Amplifiers,Coffee machines...)
- 5 Sandwichs+Drinks
- Allowed to do the compos and to vote
PRICE : 80 FF/Person - 500 FB
■ PARTIAL PASSPORT
- From Saturday 8 PM to Sunday 8 PM
- Machines allowed
- 2 Sandwichs+Drinks
- Allowed to do the compos and to vote
PRICE : 40 FF/Person - 250 FB
■ VISITOR PASSPORT
- Saturday 2 PM/6 PM or/and Sunday 2 PM/6 PM
- Machines not allowed
- 1 Drink
- Not Allowed to vote or participate
PRICE : 10 FF/Person - 60 FB
Food 'n Drinks services will be there.
NB : The payment is only accepted in french francs or belgian francs.
Be sure to have enough money !
( Some distributors for international cards are near the party place )
Which inside rules ?
────────────────────
+ All the machines taken inside the place will be registered
to avoid stealing.
+ Alcohol is forbidden in the Party place.
(There are some Cafes near the place)
+ A room will be installed for smokers.
+ Every people could be searched when entering or leaving.
+ Organizers are NOT responsible of unregistred or illegal use of
softwares.
+ Organizers are allowed to reject someone outside.
+ Sound injures are forbidden ( No Soundchip at 4 AM on a 200W Ampli!)
+ A security service could exclude every people who is not respecting
the rules and could bring him to the police in a case of major
reasons (Stealing,Drugs,Weapon or Knife carrying...)
( Don't panic, we are quite cool :-) )
Which competitions ?
────────────────────
The computer compos will be on :
- PC
- Commodore AMIGA
- Atari FALCON/ST
Compos on others machines could be organized if the participation is big enough
(C64,CPC,ZX81...)
The productions will be shown on a big screen and sono
( Should be wrong for graphism compos 'cos of several resolutions...)
■ General rules for all the compos :
+ At least one member of the crew must present himself at the Coding-Party
+ The productions mustn't have been realised for an other party.
+ One contribution by person and by compo (=>A crew can do several contri-
butions in a same compo)
+ The contributions must be finished at least two weeks after the CP, if
not they will be disqualified.
When finished and given to the organizers, the productions could be
spread freely.
+ Every participation must be given before the dead-line ( Final version or
not, if not it won't be registered).
+ Every production which could injure a people, a crew or a machine
( No "Intel Outside" but "Motorola Inside"...Nearly different!)
could be refused if the organizers decide it.
Due to dis, Amiga owners could vote for PC compos and so on...
+ Disks won't be returned.
■ Prizes :
Prizes are only Softwares and Hardwares ( No Cash ).
The list of the prizes is not made yet, so contact us if you want more infos
on the prizes and the sponsors...
■ Compos :
- DEMOS PC :
+ Basic Machine : 486 DX2/66 VLB + Gravis Ultrasound 1Mb
or SB/SB Pro.
+ Maximum size : 5 Mb
+ Maximum during : 15 Mns
+ No SVGA
+ If your demo is using specific stuffs (Soundcard, Memory...)
take them with you!!
+ Voters will be informed of the configuration needed to
execute your demo.
+ No demos with only precalculated animations
- INTROS PC :
+ Like PC demos except :
+ Maximum size : 64 Kb
+ Maximum during : 10 Mns
- INTROS 4Kb PC :
+ Like PC demos except :
+ Maximum size : 4 Kb
+ Maximum during : 4 Mns
- DEMOS AMIGA :
+ Basic Machine : A1200 2Mb
+ Maximum size : 5 Disks
+ Maximum during : 15 Mns
+ If your demo is using specific stuffs (Fast memory, A4000...)
take them with you!!
+ Voters will be informed of the configuration needed to
execute your demo.

In Parallel of the Coding-Party is organized a infography compo.

(This compo has NOTHING to do with the party organisation so don't contact us)
Results will be given and shown on Sunday afternoon.
