  19. ║   So, here it is our second demo production finally released....           ║
  20. ║   It's been a long time since panDEMOnium,our first demo was out           ║
  21. ║   and we decided we should do something to state that we are               ║
  22. ║   alive. This intro is not made to compete in any demo-compo, we           ║
  23. ║   made it just for fun (that's why it is so buggy....:-)                   ║
  24. ║   The demo,a 90 Kbyte pklited executable is NOT written in the             ║
  25. ║   assembler....It's 100% written in Turbo Pascal 7 of course               ║
  26. ║   with too much inline assembly.....Stupid,huh ?  Though, 100% of          ║
  27. ║   the code, gfx and music is done by us ,except for the samples            ║
  28. ║   that were ripped from various mods.                                      ║
  29. ║   Distribute this intro freely ,but please keep all files of the           ║
  30. ║   .ZIP file together , without any changes...                              ║
  31. ║   Sorry for the boot at the end, but how else could a demo named         ╔═╣

  34. ╠═╕ Requirements                                                           ║ ║

  36. ║   The only thing you need to get this demo movin' is an 80386 or      ║    ║
  37. ║   a higher processor and a VGA. To hear the music you need a GUS      ╚════╣
  38. ║   or a SoundBlaster compatible soundcard . Yes,we DO support the           ║
  39. ║   SB , while many demos nowdays don't even run without a Gravis,           ║
  40. ║   cause we think it's a shame not to ( or because we don't own a           ║
  41. ║   GUS.......;-)                                                            ║
  42. ║   You can even hear the music from the PC-speaker (!!!)  but the           ║
  43. ║   sound quality is really looooooooowwww....                               ║
  44. ║   The intro will run in the same speed even if run in a 386sx/25           ║
  45. ║   but if you want it to be smooth enough, please don't run it in           ║
  46. ║   anything slower than a  486/66MHz with a fast VL-Svga card ,or           ║
  47. ║   the scrollers may seem a bit jerky... Of course you can adjust           ║
  48. ║   the sb player mixing speed for better results.                           ║

  52. ║   When running the intro, it automatically detects your hardware           ║
  53. ║   and decides the soundplaying device and the mixing speed for a           ║
  54. ║   Sb.You can bypass this autodetection using command-line parameters       ║
  55. ║   So type :                                                                ║

  57. ║  int19h        to allow autodetection                                      ║
  58. ║  int19h  /?    to see this help screen                                     ║
  59. ║  int19h  /c    to configure sound card,mixing speed,stereo or mono playback║
  60. ║  int19h  /s    for silence mode                                            ║

  62. ║  (Hint : The reboot is not done with any special procedure, it's only      ║
  63. ║   a simple   int 19h   command. That means it is easy to avoid it by       ║
  64. ║   disabling the interrupt...)                                              ║
