--------------------------*--------------*-■> SYSTEM REQUiREMENTS <■--------*--
.o| At least 600k of conventional memory. Some EMS will be fine too. Sound card
| will probably be autodetected, but if not, check out the switches by execu-
| ting START!.EXE /? (if you'll have silence on SB16 try '-o8' switch.
.o| Fast computer is recommended for maximum pleasure.
| 386DX-40 is the lowest choice.
.o| Disk cache is STRONGLY suggested! 512k seems to be OK in most cases.
.o| If you have slow VGA (Trident ISA) you'll probably have to turn off text
| scrolling (use -NOS parameter). The pages will be shown without scrolling
| tricks.
---------------------------*--------*--*------■> WARNiNGS <■--------*----------
.o| Don't try to run it under DV, OS/2, Windoze etc! Nothing good will happen!
| Simply REMEMBER: you can't talk about utilizing full system resources when
| using any PC "multitask" bullshit, available in the market! =)
-------*------------*--------------------*-■> ASSORTED iNFO <■-------*---------
The mag was written on 486DLC-40Mhz/4MB/CL5422 SB20 and also has been checked
on the following systems:
i486DX2-80Mhz/4MB/TVGA8900/GUS 512k
i486DX2-66MHz/4MB/CL5428/SB16
i386DX-33MHz/4MB/TVGA/GUS 512K
Tools used:
.o| Turbo Pascal 7.0
.o| Deluxe Paint 2.3
.o| Ultimate Font Editor 1.0b (my own program, for internal use)
.o| Scream Tracker 3.01, 3.2
.o| Caligari TrueSpace 1.0
.o| Alchemy 1.7.7
and a bunch of small utilities.
99% of magazine's code written on TP7 inline assembler (about 4000 lines).
Bugs:
Unfortunately, I don't have a GUS and has no chances to check _everything_
related to GUS support. What about SB 2.0 - there should be no problems.

We're not responsible for any statements or information, supplied by people
who write us articles. Please don't ask us "why this or that BBS number not
