  15.           Yeah, this is boring reading, but DO read it anyway, so you
  16.           know what to expect and how things are planned to go.

  23.           FINALLY the time has come to yet another computerparty in
  24.           one of Denmarks most beloved cities, Struer =).  What I'm
  25.           blabbering about is of course COMA 2!
  26.  
  27.           COMA 2 well be held same place as last time: the basement
  28.           under Struer Borgerskole.  For those of you, who haven't
  29.           been her yet, I've written a small guide with a map, which
  30.           could become rather handy to you, when finding the way.
  31.  
  32.           The whole crap will start Wednesday 25 of May around 16°°.
  33.           We'll all get kicked out of the room around 8 o'clock
  34.           evening, so I guess we better have out gear packed before
  35.           the deadline.

  50.           The basement is of course furnished with two toilets and
  51.           sinks.  NO showers though, but instead we use the once in
  52.           the hall right opposite the school yard, so at least that's
  53.           no excuse for not taking bath!

  55.           Our basement is like splint into four rooms, where the three
  56.           of them are going to be used for the computer- and sound-
  57.           equipment, and the last one, which has a rather soft floor
  58.           and has benches and tables installed, will be used as a
  59.           sleeping room - so no computers and noise in here.
  60.  
  61.           There should be plenty of room for 50-70 people, so we
  62.           wouldn't mind if you decide to bring a friend of yours or
  63.           two, but still please sign up as fast as possible.

  65.           A payphone is also available to serve us too.  Read more
  66.           about it later in this text!

  90.           Since I've been to allot of parties, I've learned about what
  91.           stuff to bring and which to leave home.  Now, here's a list
  92.           of things you could follow when packing your bag:

  128.           Exactly how you are going to be transported form the
  129.           railroad station to the COMA building and back, I really
  130.           haven't got a clue.
  131.           If your parents drive you, or you've your own car, that
  132.           problem should be solved.  But since there's less than
  133.           1000 meters a bus-ticket from the station shouldn't be that
  134.           expensive - but remember to ask the busdriver, to tell you,
  135.           when you should get off! If you decide to walk, try to
  136.           follow the map.

  143.           Wether you guys bring your own food or buy it here, is your
  144.           own choice, but there are several great places where to get
  145.           it.
  146.           Ordering pizzas shouldn't be a problem neither since a we've
  147.           a payphone installed.

  151.           ║ COMPETITIONS                                             ║

  154.           A DOOM or DOOM II competition will be arranged with a price
  155.           for the winner and loser of the turnement: a COMA 2 T-shirt.
  156.           No competitions has been laied down for the Amigaes, but a
  157.           serial StuntCar Racer fight can surely be arranged.
  158.           There'll be given no winnerprices but the hornier, though.

  165.           For your pleasure the organizers of COMA will set up a big
  166.           network for PC's, where it'll be possible to trade and
  167.           spread files.
  168.           If you want to be hooked up to the net for either the file-
  169.           swabbing or the DOOM competition, you've got to bring these
  170.           requirements your self:
  171.             ■ Network card, the faster the better
  172.             ■ Network wire, it's not 100% sure you can borrow any
  173.  
  174.           Never mind the software;  We'll install our own on your
  175.           client, so we know, what we're dealing with, if any
  176.           unexpected problems should appear.

  178.           The network server will feature the following:
  179.             ■ 486DX2-66 MHz
  180.             ■ 16 Mb RAM
  181.             ■ 16 bit Intel Netcard
  182.             ■ 1GB Mb SCSI diskspace

  192.           At COMA 2 we'll try something new: Run a rave!  IF we manage
  193.           to get hold of an approiate place in time, that is!  We've
  194.           tried almost everywhere, but the people we need to contact
  195.           have all gone on Easter vacataion, so we're quite in lack of
  196.           time.
  197.  
  198.           But IF we make it, we'll from around 4 o'clock Thursday
  199.           morning let the rave go off, and will end at 7, morning, if
  200.           it hasn't already stopped because of lack of music or
  201.           interest.
  202.  
  203.           How it's going to be exactly (if it's gonna be!), we don't
  204.           know yet, be cause none of us, have tried to arrange a such
  205.           a techno-rave before, but we have an ide of how we'll manage
  206.           it, even though it may be kind of difficult without any DJ.

  208.           We have the following equipment at service:
  209.             ■ Stereoset (a normal one)
  210.             ■ 2 CD players
  211.             ■ 2 tape recorders/players
  212.             ■ radio =)
  213.             ■ 2 X 365 watt speakers.

  215.             ■ 140 watt amplifier

  217.           As you may see on the list, we have no sound-mixer, so the
  218.           rave is going to be VERY amateur!

  231.           If you have any cool trance, hard trance, ambient, rave or
  232.           hardcore techno music on  CD or tape, please bring it!
  233.           Because if we suddenly "run out of music", we have to stop
  234.           the rave, see.

  236.           Another important thing about this rave is, that we have no
  237.           lightshows at fucking all!
  238.           So if you have any or know anybodies you could borrow, you
  239.           absolutely SHALL!  Don't count on we have enough - because
  240.           we haven't!
  241.           Stroboscopes(?), coloured bulbs, blinking equalizers,
  242.           everything!  The more lightshow, the cool the rave will be!
  243.  
  244.           Your clothing is your own problem, but please do look a bit
  245.           "ravy"! =)  You know what I mean - dress up cool and fancy!
  246.  
  247.           We've decided to make this rave public.  Meaning that people
  248.           outside are welcome to join us the period the rave is on.
  249.           If you're one of these, the rules above goes for you too:
  250.           Do bring your own music and lasershowes, please!

  252.           Same rules as for the invited computer freaks goes for the
  253.           other public rave-people!  They should therefore also read
  254.           the PARTY RULES text and the rest of this document.

  256.           The rave-only people out from the streets have to pay an
  257.           entrance of 20 DKr each.

  259.           As said, the rave-arrengement is rather doubtful, therefore
  260.           you can always call us to get a up to date status-report.
