  26. WHERE & WHEN

  28.    The  Party 1994 will be held in Scandinavia's largest conference centre.
  29.    The  centre is of course placed in Herning in the middle of Denmark. The
  30.    Party  will  be  held from Tuesday 27 December at 10:00 CET to Friday 30
  31.    December at 10:00 CET.

  34. FACILITIES:

  36.  - Room  for  at  least  3000  people,  including  tables  and  chairs  for
  37.    everybody.
  38.  
  39.  - A quiet, separate hal for sleeping.  But you are free to sleep where you
  40.    want to.

  42.  - Enough  electricity  for  everyone,  with  a professional electrician 24
  43.    hours a day to avoid problems.
  44.  
  45.  - All info about what's going on (surprises, competitions, events, winners
  46.    etc.)  will  be published on a large bulletin board near The Information
  47.    and on the big screen.

  49.  - 1000 x 800 cm high quality screen for competitions and other events.

  51.  - Extremely powerful PA equipment to guarantee perfect sound quality.

  53.  - Two  cafeterias  will be open all day. At night only one of them will be
  54.    open. A kiosk or two will also be open most of the day. Fair prices.

  56.  - The  toilet and shower facilities are good.  This year we have more than
  57.    35 free hot showers.

  75.    Dark  caves  and extreme light effects. Thrilling sound effects and loud
  76.    background music. Beam up your buddy in the laser game you have to try.

  78.  - If  you  have made a music- og demovideo or another amazing thing, bring
  79.    it  with  you and we will gladly show it at the big screen. Just hand in

  123.  - All contributions must be delivered at The Information before deadline.

  125.  - If  you  want  to  take part in a competition you must be present at the
  126.    party.

  128.  - If  too  many  contributions are delivered for a competition a competent
  129.    jury will make a selection.

  131.  - We copy and spread all contributions.

  133.  - The contribution disks will not be returned.

  135. Amiga Demo:

  137.  - A  group  can contribute with as many demos as they want to but only one
  138.    from each coder.

  140.  - Max. demo lenght: 20 min.

  142.  - The demo must be able to run on a standard A1200 (2 MB chip).

  144. Gfx Competition:
  145. ----------------
  146.  - Each artist is allowed to contribute with one picture.

  148.  - The  picture must be delivered in ILBM format. Max resolution: 736 x 566
  149.    in 256 colors.

  151. Music Competition:

  153.  - Each musician is allowed to contribute with one tune.

  155.  - We will play a max. of 5 min. per tune.

  157.  - Maximum amount of channels is 4, maximum size is 1 MB.

  159.  - The tune must be delivered as a mod.-file, in a Protracker comp. format.

  222.  - Alcohol  is  not  allowed  at the party place. If we find any it will be

  225.  - Intoxicated people will be thrown out or handed over to the police. This
  226.    goes for both alcohol as well as drugs.

  279. TRAVEL INFO:

  281.  - If  you  are  going  by train or bus you will arrive at Herning Station.
  282.    From  here  a  nonstop party bus will be driving to the party place. The
  283.    ride takes 12 min. and costs app. 20 dkk. At the station there will be 2
  284.    organizers  to help you getting to the party place. If you go to Herning
  285.    by  car  you should follow the "Messecenter Herning" or "The Party 1994"
  286.    signs.
