Process Remote Access System ^ This tells DynaStat to process the Remote Access BBS systems log files. By saying "NO" you are disabling the whole module. Process Front Door System Log Files ^ This tells DynaStat that you want to process your Front Door log files to include in your bulletin generating. By saying no to this option, you have disabled the whole Front Door Module. Process PcBoard BBS Log Files ^ This tells DynaStat to process the PcBoard log files on your system. By saying NO to this option, you disable the whole PcBoard section of the program. Color of the Outer Box of your Bulletin ^ This is the color you want to use for the box borders. Color for Titles and Headers ^ The color you wish to use in the bulletin for Titles and Header Info. Color Used in Bulletin for Statistics ^ The color you wish to use for all the actual numbers and names. Color Used for Users Names ^ Color the Name will show up to be in the bulletin. PcBoard ^ This is the configuration for the PcBoard module of DynaStat. Here you may select colors,paths and various other info needed by DynaStat in order to process the PcBoard Log files on your system. Remote Access ^ This is the part of the config program that deals with Remote Access switches and color selections. DynaStat needs to know a few things about what you want to do with your particular system, so these are essential. Front Door ^ This is the part of the config program where you may select various Front Door features. Here you may select colors, choose input files, output files etc... Includes ^ Here you may actually choose WHICH system you are using. Please note that you may have all the switches and paths set up and have these set to NO and you have virtually disabled the whole system. Quit/Exit/Save Config ^ This will exit and save the current configuration. Log Paths ^ This is an unlimited database of the files/logs you wish to process. Toggles ^ Here you select various yes/no and other switches Output Files ^ Here you may specify the names of the bulletin files you wish to write to. Please remember NOT to put in extensions for ANY of the bulletins. The default extensions of .ASC and .ANS will go on Front Door and Remote Access bulletins. Colors ^ Here you may select various colors for your bulletin files. Paths to your OutFiles ^ Here you may specify up to 10 files you wish to write this report to. If perhaps you wish to post it to different programs, you are free to insert them here. Please remember NOT to include an EXTENSION!!! for both Remote Access and Front Door as DynaStat will burp up in an unexpected manner. Path to LogFile ^ This is the actual path and filename of the file you wish to process. You may specify as many files as you like. You have an unlimited base here in which to insert. This is handy in a Multi-Node envoironment where you want the bulletins generated for the whole system and not just for one node. Process This File ^ This is just a handy way of disabling this particular file without having to take it out of your database. This way you don't have to lose the entry and can re-enable it at any time. Trim This File ^ One of the nice features of DynaStat is that it will trim your log files to the date you specify you want to go back. For example, if you wanted to go back 15 days in your bulletins, you will always have a 15 day old log file if you process every day. Include System Statistics In Bulletin ^ Like it says, you may omit the final screen here if you like. This screen includes general system info. Sort Order ^ For PcBoard and Remote Access you may select the sort order. It is the number 0 for a bulletin sorted by bytes up or downloaded, select 1 for a bulletin sorted number of files up or downloaded, or 2 for an alphabetical listing of the high users, but only users based on a byte system originally. Front Door only includes the first two sorts and will abort the sort all together if a number higher than 2 is found. Show Intro Screen ^ This tells DynaStat to include the Intro Screen. This screen includes the sysop name as found in your key file, date and time the bulletin was generated and some program info. Show Totals Screen ^ There is a screen that may be generated including system ratio by bytes, files as well as some other info you may find useful. Clear Screen in Bulletins ^ This tells DynaStat to insert a clear screen ansi control character in between screens. This may be desired over the scrolling of the regular bulletin and looks much cleaner in the final product, but is up to you. How Many to Include in Bulletins ^ This tells DynaStat how many to include in its high lists such as top uploaders or top downloaders. This number may be up to 25 only. Number of days to go back in Bulletin ^ How far back you actually want to calculate in your report. Show High Baud Grid ^ This is for Front Door ONLY. It is an extra screen for baud rates and how many times they were used on your system. This can be disabled by answering N to this.
