  4. Waste for Windows looks best on resolutions of 800x600 
  5. or better using Windows' "small fonts." At 640x480 
  6. you'll need to scroll to see the full display. And if
  7. you are using "large fonts" then it may look strange.
  8. I'm sorry for that, but I'm not exactly getting paid
  9. for this program and I don't have the time to make it
  10. work well at all resolutions and both font settings.

  12. To install, unzip the zipped file to some temp 
  13. directory (or a floppy). Then, double-click on 
  14. SETUP.EXE (or select it from the Program Manager's 
  15. File|Run menu).

  17. The Windows version runs under Windows 3.1 and Windows 95
  18. because these share the same FAT-based file system.
  19. Waste for Windows may not run under Win NT, but see online
  20. help for more details.

  22. There is nothing unusual in the setup for Waste for Windows.

  24. It DOES NOT modify any of your system files. It doesn't 
  25. touch any of your INI files, or your AUTOEXEC.BAT, or 
  26. your CONFIG.SYS file.  All the setup program does is copy 
  27. a few of files to the directory you specify to hold 
  28. WASTE, and a few to your \windows\system directory, if they
  29. aren't already there.

  31. Then a program manager group is created.

  44. WINGDING.*    \WINDOWS\SYSTEM  (True Type Font)

  46. Waste for Windows is shareware but the information it provides
  47. could recover HUNDREDS of megabytes of space for you. This is 
  48. worth quite a bit of money, and I humbly request only $5. If
