  6.     We have tested Mouse Warp in a variety of environments in
  7.     order to ensure compatibility with a broad range of systems.
  8.     However, the continually growing number of combinations of
  9.     hardware and software makes it impossible to test Mouse
  10.     Warp in all environments.  We have tried to adhere to all
  11.     applicable development guidelines from Microsoft and other
  12.     sources but even a perfect program can fail when run in
  13.     combination with another program that uses non-standard
  14.     or unrecommends procedures.

  17.     Un-Installing Mouse Warp
  18.     ------------------------
  19.     The first thing to do when you experience severe
  20.     incompatibilities such as a system lock up, is to stop
  21.     Mouse Warp from loading as soon as Windows starts.
  22.     From DOS, using a DOS editor such as EDIT, edit the
  23.     WIN.INI file in your Windows directory.  Find the
  24.     'load=' line under the [windows] section.  After
  25.     the equal sign will be the name of the Mouse Warp
  26.     executable and of any other executables that are loaded
  27.     when Windows starts.  Remove the reference to Mouse Warp.

  29.     For example if the line currently reads:
  30.         load=c:\mouswarp\mouswarp.exe c:\other\other.exe
  31.     Change it to read:
  32.         load=c:\other\other.exe
  33.  
  34.     After you have completed the above procedure, save the
  35.     file and exit the editor. Now when you run Windows
  36.     Mouse Warp will not be started automatically.

  39.     If you wish, you may now try to close other applications
  40.     that may have running, especially if your are running
  41.     alternate desktop programs or other cursor enhancement
  42.     tools.  Next, try to run Mouse Warp by doubling click
  43.     on the MOUSWARP.EXE file from the File Manager.  If
  44.     a lock up occurs again, reboot and then run Windows
  45.     again. This time, try removing any other utilties you
  46.     may have running. If you do not succeed in locating
  47.     the conflict, you can remove Mouse Warp from your
  48.     system by deleting the Mouse Warp files from the
  49.     directory where you installed it, removing MOUSWARP.INI
  50.     from your Windows directory and removing MOUSWARP.CPL
  51.     from your Windows system directory.
