  4. After a year in development and testing, WayPoint for Windows v1.0 is now
  5. available for distribution.  This is a full featured voyage planner designed
  6. to operate under Windows.  All mariners wishing to combine the computer with
  7. the navigation of a vessel will find this program useful.

  10.       ***************  IMPORTANT SETUP INFORMATION   *************

  12.         WayPoint for Windows requires the runtime module VBRUN300.DLL.
  13.         Due to file size and lengthy download times this file is not
  14.         included with the BBS archived version, as it is easily obtainable
  15.         from numerous BBS's.
  16.  
  17.         If you received WayPoint for Windows from ProMar Software then this
  18.         file is already included in the package.
  19.  
  20.         If you already have the VBRUN300.DLL file in your Windows system
  21.         directory and you are installing WayPoint for Windows without
  22.         VBRUN300.DLL in the setup files, an error message will display the
  23.         message:  Retry, Abort, Ignore prompt.  Select "Ignore" to continue.
  24.         The setup procedure will then search for VBRUN300.DLL in your
  25.         Windows system directory and continue with the installation.

  28. WayPoint for Windows v1.0 is available as ShareWare.  Registration is as low
  29. as $29.  Full registration is $43, which includes printed manual and 3.5 HD
  30. disk media.  More information on registration and features is available in
  31. the manual and program's order form.

  33. The Packing.Lst file contains a listing of all files required to be included
  34. in the WayPoint for Windows package.  Please ensure that you have all the 
  35. required files.  A complete and most recent version of WayPoint for Windows
  36. can be located on both CompuServe and GEnie online services, or from 
  37. ProMar Software (use Order.Txt).

  40. If you received this file in a compressed archive form (zip, arc, etc) you
  41. will need to copy all files to a high density floppy for installation.
  42. The files cannot be copied to the directory where the program will reside, 
  43. WayPoint for Windows must be installed from within Windows using the setup 
  44. file included if it is to work properly.

  50.       From the Program Manager, access the File, Run menu commands

  52.       Type:  A:setup  or  B:setup   (use the drive of the floppy disk)
