time to skate!
ON THE ICE
Once you're on the ice, take some time to master those difficult jumps. Even
champions like Michelle Kwan need to practice to stay on their toes. The last
thing you want is to fall in front of an arena full of your fans!
With a created program, this is your chance to show off your hard work for the
judges. Whether you're participating in a competition or working on your moves
in practice, have fun and enjoy your time on the ice. Remember, it doesn't matter
if you win or lose, just as long as you do your best.
The program begins when you first appear on the ice. Once the music starts, all
eyes are on you!
You can change the camera angle by clicking on the video camera icon. There
are five different views to choose from.
Note: On the ice, your skater performs all the moves you choreographed.
There's no need to worry about controlling your moves except when you're
trying to land a jump.
LANDING ON YOUR FEET
When your skater attempts a daring jump, it's up to you to perfect the timing of
the move.
To land safely:
1. Watch the Jump Meter when your skater is about to attempt a jump. The
triangle icon begins to move to the left across the Jump Meter moments
before your skater leaves her feet.
2. After the triangle icon moves right along the Jump Meter, click the left
mouse button or the space bar and your skater attempts to land her jump.
