  7. Martin Scott has been forced to sell its Amiga, so he asked me to take over
  8. Yak. I agreed so here is the result Yak 1.52 which is built on top on Yak
  9. 1.5a.

  11. The main improvement is that Yak is now localized ! Unfortunately, at this
  12. moment only english (builtin) and french languages are supported but
  13. translators in other languages are welcome !
  14.  
  15. The documentation is now in AmigaGuide format, which, thanks to Commodore,
  16. is freely distribuable.
  17.  
  18. There is now an installer script which supports english and french languages.

  20. Differences from versions prior to 1.5x

  23. This  is  a  significant new release of Yak, with an improved interface and
  24. more  extensibility regarding hotkeys.  Users of earlier versions should at
  25. least briefly reread the documentation.  If you currently use v1.3 or v1.4,
  26. you  should  run  the  supplied  Convert  program  to make preference files
  27. readable  by  Yak v1.5.  But do read the section directed at existing users
  28. in the documentation.

  30. If  you haven't used Yak before, you'll have no preferences to convert, and
  31. so  no  hotkeys  will  be  defined  when  you  start Yak.  To rectify this,
  32. double-click  on  the  "Install  Default Hotkeys" icon which copies a small
  33. file to your S: directory.
