  2. How To Register:   ISAM 1.01

  5. Registration Fee:
  6. -----------------

  8.    The registration fee is US$ 45.00 for new registrations.
  9. You must remit a fee for each computer on which the software will be installed.
  10. In addition, developers creating software that requires the server
  11. have additional responsibilites.  Write RedShift Software for details.
  12.     
  13.    Additional copies of the server alone are US$ 10.00 each.
  14. (You will then have the right to make ONE copy of the server program (for
  15. installation on ONE additonal computer) for EACH additional copy you purchase).

  17.    Time payments of up to three (3) months are acceptable.  If paying over two
  18. (2) months, each payment is 1/2 of the total (software + shipping/handling +
  19. tax); if paying over three (3) months, each payment is 1/3 of the total.

  21.    All fees must be remitted in US currency, personal checks that are drawn
  22. on a US bank, or international or Postal money order or cashier's check in US
  23. currency drawn on a US bank.  No credit card orders can be accepted at this
  24. time.

  27. Discounts:
  28. ----------
  29.    Quantity discounts are available.  For each product (ISAM, ISAM server
  30. alone), the discount off the above listed price is as follows:

  45. Note that the quantity is caclulated separately for each product: if
  46. purchasing 6 ISAM and 7 additional ISAM servers, the discount is 15% on each
  47. (quantity :6, quantity: 7), not 20% on their total (quantity: 13).

  50. Multiple Orders:

  53.    Multiple copies of the same product will be sent as one disk, which you
  54. will then install on the registered number of computers.

  57. Shipping/Handling charge(s):

  60.    The Shipping/Handling charge starts at US$ 2.00, which covers US,
  61. Canadian, and Mexican Orders (which will be sent US First Class Mail).
  62. The Shipping/Handling charge for orders to other destinations (which will be
  63. sent Airmail) will be an additional US$ 1.00.
  64.  
  65. Priority Mail is available to US customers only at an additional US$ 3.00.

  67. ExpressMail is available at an additional:
  68.    US$ 10.00 to US destinations,
  69.    US$ 12.00 to Canada/Mexico/GreatBritain/NorthernIreland, and
  70.    US$ 14.00 elsewhere.
  71. ExpressMail is not available everywhere.  Registrations received for a location
  72. not served by this service, will be shipped by an alternate method.

  75. Sales Tax:

  78.    New York State residents must add their full local sales tax on the
  79. total of software and shipping/handling.

  82. Underpayment:

  85.    Underpayment will be handled in one of the following ways, depending
  86. on what form the discrepency takes:

  88.      1) The software will be shipped by a less expensive method.
  89.      2) You will be billed the difference.
  90.      3) The registration form and payment will be returned.

  93. Overpayment:
  94. ------------
  95.    Overpayment will be refunded.

  98. Defective Disks:
  99. ----------------
  100.  
  101.    Disks found to be defective will be replaced at no charge.  Write us to
  102. let us know, and make sure to note your registration number in your letter.
  103. Don't bother returning the disk.

  106. User Groups:
  107. ------------

  109.    User groups may purchase at the discount rate listed above.
  110.    The purchase must be handled through the group Treasurer, who will receive
  111. the registered master disk, and will handle duplication/distribution.  The 
  112. order must be on official user group letterhead, and a list of the purchasers'
  113. names/addresses must be supplied.
  114. You may "pre-pay" for a limited number of future purchasers (to save work,
  115. or to get a better discount), so long as when they do purchase, their names/
  116. addresses are then supplied.  When the number of pre-paid slots fill up,
  117. you must stop and place a new order.
