  17.      The vvaalllloocc() function allocates _s_i_z_e bytes aligned on a page boundary.
  18.      It is implemented by calling malloc(3) with a slightly larger request,
  19.      saving the true beginning of the block allocated, and returning a proper­
  20.      ly aligned pointer.
