  1. This is disk 984 of the freely distributable AMIGA software library.
  2. Below is a listing of the significant directories and their contents.

  5. AGIndex        Creates an index for AmigaGuide documents.  Indicies are
  6.         sorted alphabetically and can be accessed (in AmigaGuide)
  7.         by pressing the 'Index' button.  Index entries can be
  8.         extracted from the source document using two different
  9.         selecting methods: by reference or by declaration.
  10.         Version 1.04, OS2.0 and higher, binary only, freeware

  13. ForceIcon    A utility mainly for users of CD-ROM drives.  Since one can
  14.         not snapshot the position of a volume's icon, nor replace
  15.         it by a user-defined one, this utility was written.  Force-
  16.         Icon allows you to set the position of a disk's icon and/or
  17.         replace it by a different image/icon which doesn't have to
  18.         be a disk.info file.  All types of ".info" files may be
  19.         selected.  GiftWare, Version 1.4, includes source.

  22. IconToClip    A link between the Workbench and the Shell.  It adds an item
  23.         to the Tools menu that, when selected, puts the name of any
  24.         highlighted icon into the Clipboard, from which it can be
  25.         pasted to the Shell or any other program that uses the Amiga
  26.         Clipboard.  Has an option for writing the full pathname.
  27.         Can handle multiple icon selections, writing the names in
  28.         row or column format.  Can also be used as an AppWindow.
  29.         Requires 2.04 or higher.  Version 1.0, includes source in
  30.         assembly.

  33. Imploder    The Imploder allows you to reduce the size of executable
  34.         files while having them retain their full functionality.
  35.         There are other "crunchers" or "packers" available for the
  36.         Amiga, but none are as mindful of the complexities of your
  37.         Amiga system as the Imploder.  In addition to this, its
  38.         algorithms are more efficient, both in terms of speed, and
  39.         size reduction.  Version 4.0, binary only.

  43. TWA        A commodity that remembers the last active window on any
  44.         screen.  If screens are shuffled, the window is automatic-
  45.         ally re-activated when that screen is brought to front.
  46.         Version 1.4, an update to version 1.2 on disk number 874.
  47.         This version fixes a problem which made it impossible to
  48.         autoscroll on a screen which is partially in the back-
  49.         ground.  Binary only.

  52. WindowDaemon    Gives extended control to intuition windows and screens
  53.         through HotKeys and Arexx.  Features:  Commodities Support;
  54.         HotKey and Arexx support to manipulate the currently active
  55.         window and screen.  Standard window controls are avalable
  56.         such as Zip, Close, Size, ToFront, ToBack, NextScreen, etc.
  57.         Able to close the parent window of a drawer when opened on
  58.         "Workbench" if CONTROL is held down.  (Only available under
  59.         kickstart V39 or higher); Specialized options to forcefully
  60.         close windows and screens, and also to remove tasks that own
  61.         the active window.  Version 1.6, binary only.
