  1. Chemesthetics distribution package

  6. This is the official Chemesthetics distribution package.
  7.  
  8. Chemesthetics draws molecules using the calotte model (atoms are drawn as
  9. bowls). To get a quick view what that is click on the picture icon...
  10.  
  11. Along with Chemesthetics come two small utilities (CDM2DKB to convert
  12. Chemesthetics data files into DKB input files (DKBTrace is a Freeware
  13. RayTracer by David Buck) and ConvM3D to convert Molec3D data files into
  14. Chemesthetics data files)
  15.  
  16. Because of it's size, the distribution has been split into several
  17. archives. To simplify and to make sure that all files will be present, an
  18. installation program is supplied. See Install.doc for details.

  20. The following archives should be present:
  21.  
  22. ChemDist.lha        - contains all executable files (German version,
  23.               English version, IEEE version and FPU version),
  24.               utilities (CDM2DKB, ConvM3D), data files
  25.               (chems_e.dat, chems_g.dat), doc files for
  26.               Chemesthetics and utilities, example files and
  27.               libraries. Use the 'Install' program to select
  28.               what you need. The 'Install' program will
  29.               automatically extract what you selected.

  31. Source.LHA        - contains all needed source files to rebuild
  32.               Chemesthetics, CDM2DKB, ConvM3D, Install. See
  33.               SrcReadMe! for further details!

  35. (Pictures.LHA.run)      - (pictures that are made of the examples, this
  36.               archive needs a lot of space, so it will just be
  37.               there, if there is enough space on the disk)

  39. I don't provide the small file OS2.0_Colors anymore (since V2.14) because I
  40. think everybody now uses the new Workbench colors. If you don't, the icons
  41. may look weird. Use a remap program to exchange colors 1 & 2 or adjust your
  42. Workbench colors!
