  1. This is disk 593 of the freely distributable AMIGA software library.
  2. Below is a listing of the significant directories and their contents.

  5. AnalyRim    An integration of the AnalytiCalc spreadsheet (disk 495) and
  6.         the RIM-5 relational database management system (disk 143).
  7.         Integrates a spreadsheet with hundreds of functions and 18000
  8.         by 18000 cell address space, with a complete disk based DBMS,
  9.         and functions permitting one to move relations or selections
  10.         of relations in either direction between spreadsheet and data-
  11.         base.  In this way, large relations can be stored on disk, yet
  12.         accessed as needed in the spreadsheet, from whence they can be
  13.         computed with or plotted.  The command language of RIM is fair-
  14.         ly close to SQL and documents for it are included.  Also sup-
  15.         ports GnuPlot to provide flexible plotting.  A minimum of 2Mb
  16.         of memory is recommended, of which 750K must be contiguous.
  17.         Because the full distribution would not fit on a single disk,
  18.         it has been split onto two disks, with disk 593 containing the
  19.         executable and needed "keypad" command files, and disk 594
  20.         containing the source and documentation.

  23. Elements    Very nice interactive display of the the Periodic Table
  24.         of Elements.  Includes general row and column information,
  25.         plus a test mode where the program asks specific questions
  26.         about the selected element or row/column.  This is version
  27.         2.3b, an update to version 2.3 on disk 384, with some minor
  28.         AmigaDOS 2.0 fixes, a new icon, and Swedish and German data
  29.         files.  Binary only, shareware.

  32. LhA        A very fast archiver that is compatible with MS-DOS LhArc
  33.         V1.13 and LHA V2.13, as well as the Amiga LhArc.  LhA is
  34.         very memory efficient, has been written with stability
  35.         and reliability in mind, has carefully optimized compression
  36.         and decompression routines, is multitasking reentrant and
  37.         pure, handles multiple volume archives (registered version
  38.         only), and more.  Version 1.11, an update to version 1.0 on
  39.         disk 577.  Shareware, binary only.

  42. PicPak        A package of general purpose picture loading and manipulation
  43.         functions, including IFF ILBM loading, ViewPort color control
  44.         (including fades and color cycling), and frames.  Will also
  45.         load and display SHAM images.  Version 1.3c, includes source.

  48. PictSaver    A small utility that allows you cut rectangular portions of
  49.         any screen and store them on disk as IFF-ILBM files.  Also
  50.         allows easy saving of windows and entire screens to disk.
  51.         This is version 2.4, an update to version 2.0 on disk 543.

  55. WindowTiler    A WB2.0 commodity similar to ihelp that cascades, tiles, etc
  56.         workbench windows.  Contains 7 ways to arrange the windows.
  57.         Does not affect non-sizeable windows (so dock windows, etc
  58.         don't get shifted).  This is version 1.1, binary only.
