- The few examples provided here are only meant to illustrate some of the
- uses of Statpack and not to provide complete or definitive analyses of the
- data sets provided. Much complementary work can be applied to them using
- Statpack or other programs such as GLIM.
-
- In each case, a basic data file is provided, from which the illustration
- starts. An accompanying dump file provides the complete data set with
- variable names and, sometimes, additional variables created. Statpack may be
- entered by clicking on the icons for either of these files.
-
- The list file has been directly produced by Statpack to show the
- analyses which I have arbitrarily chosen. The only modifications have been to
- change the default tool of the icon so that the list can be viewed by
- clicking the icon, instead of entering Statpack, and to eliminate the
- page ejects in the file.
-
- For some of the examples, a representative graph is provided. Here, the
- default tool of the icon has also been modified so that it can be viewed by
- clicking on the icon.
-
- Detailed step by step instructions to carry out the examples are not
- provided, since this would duplicate what appears in the manual. Please refer
- to it for any problems.
