  12.     Amiga Message Center was written as an extension of several other
  13. programs I was currently working on.  The directions are simple and thus:
  14.  
  15.     1>  Compose a text file containing whatever information you want to
  16.     scroll.  This can be accomplished using any text processor, word
  17.     processor, editor or by using the built in editor features of whatever
  18.     console window you are currently working on.
  19.  
  20.     2>  All text must be composed using all UPPERCASE characters (Ascii
  21.     65-90) as well as additional characters from Ascii 32 (space) to Ascii
  22.     64 (@).  All characters out of the bounds of Ascii to 32-90 will be
  23.     printed as Ascii 32 (Space).

  25.     3>  Use the "Load Text" menu function to load the finished text file.
  26.     If your file is longer than the maximum 1000 bytes, it will be
  27.     trunctuated to the maximum.

  29.     4>  The "Save File" menu function will then save your text file, along
  30.     with the player program into whatever file you specify.  This file will
  31.     now run completely on it's own, without this program. It can be copied,
  32.     uploaded or perform just as any other DOS file.

  34.     5>  If there is an error during any of the operations performed while
  35.     you are creating your message, AMC will "Beep" the screen and inform
  36.     you that there is a problem.  If all went well, AMC will inform you
  37.     your request has been successfully performed.

  40.     If there is enough support and demand to justify additional work on
  41. this program, there are several other features that could be added,
  42. including 1: adding IFF pictures as a backdrop. 2: Inclusion of Sound. 3:
  43. Full color scrolling as on the "ABOUT" menu feature.  4: Color Selection.
  44. 5: Additional Font Selection. etc... etc... etc...
