This is release 1.0 of Amiga Empire by Chris Gray. Empire is a multi-player
game of exploration, economics, war, etc. which lasts a couple of months.
Players can play (one at a time) either on the local keyboard or remotely
through a modem.
Even though it is a waste of time, I'll call this a shareware distribution.
Contributions (oodles of money, blank Sony disks, hard disks, Amiga 2000's,
Porsche's, yachts, etc.) can be sent to:

On this disk you will find three directories. They contain:
src - the source to Amiga Empire, in Draco. See the READ_ME file in
that directory for instructions on rebuilding Empire.
doc - documentation files:
Empire.doc - how to set up and play a game
EmpCre.doc - how to vary the game setup
Deity.doc - how to play the Deity
Changing.doc - notes on the data structures, the code, and some
things that need doing.
bin - the binaries:
EmpCre - creates a world; run this first; see Empire.doc
Empire - the game program - a BIG file
par16, par32, par64 - input files to EmpCre which will create
fairly standard worlds of size 16 x 16, 32 x 32 or 64 x 64.
Note that some of the files in a world are quite large, so you
should probably use a blank disk to create a world on.
Also on the disk is file 'drio.lib'. This is a replacement file for the one
of the same name on "Draco SYS" (Fish disk 76). The new version allows
recovery from a disk full condition (important if you run EmpCre on a disk
with not enough space for the files).
