  1. This is Leo Schwab's entry for the Badge Killer Demo Contest, as sent
  2. to me by contest coordinator Tomas Rokicki.  Below is Leo's original
  3. README file.  The information about running Marketroid therein applies
  4. only to running from a CLI, as Tomas has set things up such that
  5. Marketroid can be run from the workbench using Xicon.

  11.     'Marketroid' uses custom fonts.  Therefore, for the program to
  12. operate correctly, you must reassign the FONTS: directory.  Execute the
  13. following command at the 1> prompt to do this:

  15. assign fonts: Marketroid:fonts
  16.  
  17.     An alternative would be to copy the needed custom fonts into your
  18. current FONTS: directory.  This may be done with the command:
  19.  
  20. copy Marketroid:fonts fonts: all
  21.  
  22.     This done, you may now run 'Marketroid'.  Note that, if you
  23. reassigned FONTS:, the FONTS: directory will continue to point to a
  24. different place, and programs run after 'Marketroid' may not be able to
  25. find the fonts they need.

  27.     'Marketroid' takes a single option, '-o'.  This is the "obscene"
  28. option.  By default, 'Marketroid' uses tame language in all places,
  29. suitable even for small children.  By supplying the -o option, one of the
  30. printed messages changes to something that might offend some people.  Hence,
  31. the option.  The author thinks the message in question is more effective
  32. if the -o option is supplied.  You decide.        -- Schwab
