- COS is self-contained within its own drawer is ready to run by simply
- clicking on the COS drawer and then clicking on the COSLOADER icon. All
- referenced files MUST be within the COS directory! COS will run from
- either DF0: or DF1:.

- A "clean" 512K (or more) is needed. Close any CLI's, extra windows and
- delete any RAM disks. COS will run under WORKBENCH 1.2 and has been tested
- using the aMEGA 1 Meg board. There is a marked speed improvement with the
- extra RAM.

- The directory xBMAPS contains .bmap files that have been modified so that
- calls to certain library functions will no longer be confused with Amiga-
- BASIC keywords. Keywords like OPEN and CLOSE have had an x prepended to
- them so that they are now xOPEN and xCLOSE. These .bmaps and the ACBM
- format for storing pictures are courtesy of Carolyn Scheppner at Commodore
